There is another story of Hanuman's marriage in the Book Navnath Katha saar, chapter 3. In this story Hanuman tells Machindranath the story of his marriage. Here too Hanuman was bramhachari. Machindranath is first Nath and guru of Gorakhnath and disciple of Dattarrya. Machindranath was the creator of Shabar mantras. To help common man he created mantras in local language as earlier mantras were only in sanskrit. This book is a very holy book of Nath panth. Navnath are also bramhachari.

these are very similar to Greek roman myths, some of them came out of kingdoms and that life, we had Valmikis Ramayan at home so that i what i had read over and over again of course along with Gurugranth sahib and Bible was taught in school in any case so lot of different thoughts, mythical stories but with religion as backdrop, we regularly went to mandirs also up in hills as outings...A very secular kind of up brining and atmosphere

I love this stories when i was a kid but thinking about it from a logical perspective how exactly a crocodile get pregnant by a drop of sweat? and why only one. the sweat should have dissolved in river and made so many of them pregnant. not to mention a crocodile is giving birth to a half money half human like child. which is breathing under water...

My Understanding would be Tulasi Das Jee was a Ram Bhakt whereas Rishi Valmiki had been endowed with a divine vision with which he penned down Ramayan. Apart from these two versions of Ramayana, there was the time after Ram left for his heavenly abode. Hanuman was left here and he had to be here as he was blessed by Lord Shiva that he will always be there till the end of time. He is immortal. So there would be such stories, but how true or how false there's no one to pinpoint. It's highly confusing..... After Ramayana how things turned up with Hanuman and how many such stories. Vedas do not talk directly about Hanuman but there is a prayer called Manyu Suktam.... It is dedicated to all Kshipra Devatas (Gods with animal faces/ animal like features) like Ganesha, Subrahmanya.... That's why directly no animal like features are described

All 4 yugas make 1 mahayuga and major events including Ramayan and Mahabharat repeat themselves in every mahayuga but with some differences.....so as lots of people are saying in the comment section,this story of Lord Hanuman marrying ,if real, could be from a different maha yuga and not the one whose Kaliyuga we are in now.
I don't think that makes complete sense... One mahayuga is by itself a huge amount of time... The information of the previous yuga coming to the next yuga seems too far fetched... The different versions can be explained better just by the fact that each generation receives a slightly different form of the story...

Vedas do not talk directly about Hanuman but there is a prayer called Manyu Suktam.... It is dedicated to all Kshipra Devatas (Gods with animal faces/ animal like features) like Ganesha, Subrahmanya.... That's why directly no animal like features are described

All 4 yugas make 1 mahayuga and major events including Ramayan and Mahabharat repeat themselves in every mahayuga but with some differences.....so as lots of people are saying in the comment section,this story of Lord Hanuman marrying ,if real, could be from a different maha yuga and not the one whose Kaliyuga we are in now.
I don't think that makes complete sense... One mahayuga is by itself a huge amount of time... The information of the previous yuga coming to the next yuga seems too far fetched... The different versions can be explained better just by the fact that each generation receives a slightly different form of the story...
