If LeBron didn't get chopped it was gameover or called the foul. Basketball isn't that hard to officiate. They also didn't want the Celitics losing LA. It would have added to their losing streak. No.
This is an.... ESPN/part time/not really basketball fan- fan issue.
For those of us who regularly watch, this is nothing on the scale of egregiously missed calls. Lets say 2 out of 10, its definitely nothing near the bogus calls and missed calls that LBJ has won titles off of. And the only reason anyone is making issue of this is because its LBJ crying about it. Well.... welcome to the NBA LBJ, where the refs miss calls on every play and they don't blow that whistle just because you ask them to.
Its utterly insane how people think this is some horrifically missed call and demonstrates grambling or rigging or whatever. It really just shows how easy it is to get people to talk about things they're clueless on. Go look up a missed calls or no calls compilation video from this season and then come back and tell those of us who actually watch basketball that this no call is the reasonable last straw.

Then if you had two brain cells that can rub together, you'd be wondering why i think this is stupid and nonsensical, but am regularly watching out for what i know for a fact happens.
pppssstttt little pig little pig..... the nba rigs playoff series. They don't care who wins, they just want 7 games or the most games possible, so they instruct refs to be lenient or more heavy on one team or another.

You can look up how refs records are working certain teams. The head ref for this one is 37-2 for the Celtics. It wasn’t just that last play. The entire last 5 mins was one borderline call after another. It was a clear vibe that the refs were working to make the Celtics get back in it.
The refs bias got exposed big time on this. But there’s an effort by the NBA and media to sweep shit like this under the rug. Scandals aren’t good PR when billions of dollars are on the line.
The NBA has made a conscious effort to “enforce” fouls that weren’t called in the past. That has made the game extremely ticky tack. When you have 40 subjective calls a game, it’s extremely easy to not call a few one way, and call a couple the other way. Right there, it’s a 8 pts swing.
Lastly, the NBA has a history of match fixing. This isn’t a conspiracy theory. Former refs, players and insiders have been caught fixing games. Refs in this day and age probably don’t get told what to do, they inherently know what’s in best interest of the league and Vegas. They make the league more money, they get more job security. I mean look at that fix job for the Houston-Kings finish on Feb 8th. Two turnovers, and a fake foul call makes something that a win 99.999% certainty, a loss.

Seriously? Dude in big cities being a high school ref can make you rich just rigging games. Amateur refs are usually high school teachers who routinely make biased calls in favor of their school or against a rival. In high school we played an important game (to me) one of the refs was a science teacher from the school we played. Free throws were like 40-10 in their favor. It happens. They’re human and also no one gets the benefit of the doubt anymore. People are shit.

The "10 COUNT" is kind of a reach. Boxers hear the refs counting, sometime they wait til 9 to get up. To say they were down after 10 "real seconds" is flawed a bit. Boxers go by the ref's count, not "real time" count

Please, the Celtics get screwed over by the refs all the time. Lebron has been getting bullshit calls in his favor for years, it's about time the refs switch it up a bit. The next game the Lakers played against the Pacers, they took 31 free throws, the Pacers took 6, Lebron's whining did that.

A couple things are worth keeping in mind. First, Lebron traveled on the way to the basket, so let's calm down with all this stuff about the refs costing them the game. Second, although it was clearly a terrible no call, the refs are generally speaking pretty good. We give refs a hard time when they get things wrong, but we don't praise them when they get things right. If we did, we'd be praising them 99 percent of the time.

If they want fans to take them seriously, the players need to be consistent and call it out all the time.
