I hate it when they say They will kill them. When in fact You never did anything to them. Your a complete stranger, Glad I don't drive. He should never open his window to a car door. He be safer in the car. Also you know what the driver was no where in the wrong He was. That part I don't understand wanting to kill for doing nothing to them. Just for that you know where the guy is heading towards in the after life.

A few weeks ago i got jumped when my car blew a tire out. Thankfully a homelessman and his pitbulls helped me scare em off and he even changed my tire. Forever grateful to that man.
Same, but not in a car, walking down the street now every time I see him and his dogs, I give him and dogs some food or money as thanks

911 works with no service if you use your phone's "emergency call" option. That allows your phone to connect to any working nearby service that isn't your provider. Not many people know this, but everyone should.
Which means these are real scary stories, and not scary stories that are real. I've caught a few things like this which is disappointing.

@@taracollins5597That's true. I forgot which true crime case it was but these 2 young women went missing in a remote area and their phones were found afterwards. It was shown that they tried calling the police over a 100 times but they had no service so the call never went through. Nobody knows what happened to them, sadly. But my point is, what you said is correct.
Running out of gas on a dark and scary night is one thing I hope never happens to me.
If you plan yourself ahead there is a low chance for this to happen.
Exactly. Plan ahead, try to never go below a half tank of gas on road trips. I never had this happen and I drove across the country.
just fill up on gas, bring a little extra if you’ll be on a stretch of road with no gas, maintain your car so there’s no unexpected problems, and one thing to look out for - people will put spikes in the road so you’ll pop your tires and they’ll rob you so try to look out for those on highways if you can

Firstly, I really hope the person in story 2 was safely rescued. Secondly, story 3 really had me on the edge of my seat! Great narrating Mr. Nightmare!
The last story was horrifying!😳
The woman got out of one scary situation, only to be thrown into another one only seconds later. That would be a great plot for a horror movie.

That actually reminds me of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2006 I think but maybe 03) one of the characters escapes Leather face only to enter a home of Leather face's other family members, and she gets drugged by them.
Ya, the story felt like bs. It was believable until the part where her car broke down.
If the two guys were working together, then how would the sketchy guy know if the woman would go in the direction of the house?? I also find it hard to believe that she casually walked out of the house without the man doing something.

The third story is the most terrifying to me. Imagine having your car vandilized by a sketchy guy and then going to someone's house for help and the person you went to for help tries to drug you. Scary stuff.

Im just thankful she noticed him put anything in the drink! If not, 😲. Scary! I can't believe too he thought he'd have time for it to work! Bc he knew she was getting to get in touch w\her hubby. &That her hubby knew where the car was. Which given that her ⛽ line was cut & Abt when the 🚗 wld 🛑, would it be a stretch that the guy who did that lived there? Surely she'd have recognized if it was the same guy. But maybe it was a plan together! But even still, he said he had an android phone & if hers was dead & no iPhone chrgr, then the next obvious thing is letting her use yours. Or calling the tow co. Or 911. & Yeah liquid meds wld start working quicker, or would still be what 15-25m until they took affect, give or take. By that point her hubby wldve been getting there. But definitely strange & scary!
Shame she didn't leave soon as he went upstairs to look for charger, & taken glass with her, could've got him charged.

The last story was insane! It reminded me that you should never accept an offer to have a drink if you didn’t watch it being made. Thank God homegirl had a good view of the man’s reflection! Wow!

I have a running out of gas story. This was in 2009 and I didn't have a cell phone yet.
It all starts when I was driving back to my home state after just completing technical college becoming a master technician in the southwest. I was driving down a desolate patch of highway somewhere between Arizona and New Mexico with nothing around for miles. It's probably the peak of summer where it can get to be 110 degrees easily and I notice my gas light come on, I happened to see the last sign for towns and nothing was coming up for at least an hour in both directions. I'm starting to get anxious as I keep telling myself there has to be a gas station somewhere along the way, I'm not going to go backwards, as 20 minutes go by, I see nothing, the gas gauge at this point has gone past Empty and I need gas within a few minutes or I'm stuck in the desert with no gas, no phone, and cars were nonexistent.
Sure enough I run out of gas, however, I do see a gas station just off the road to the side. The goal is clear to just push the car down the road until I reach the gas station, as I get closer the more I realize this gas station is derelict and decrepit from the outside, it made me upset that I was stuck again but I had to make sure it was actually closed. To my shock, it wasn't closed, the gas station had several customers and I could smell food being made as it was a gas station/restaurant type of establishment, I had just ate so I was in a hurry to get gas and get out of there. I got to the front register and something was off, everyone's clothing seemed to be 20 years out of date, not enough to notice, but just enough to notice, if that makes sense. I prepay my for gas with my debit card, thank the cashier and leave. I notice on my way out there were no cars in the parking lot, despite having at least 10 people inside, there was one single gas pump, and it barely functioned but gas did come out.
I pumped my 20$ of gas and started up my car, it was hot and I was thirsty so I went back inside only to find the place was empty, no smell of food, no cashier, in fact the light switch was broken. I thought it was weird but thought it was just closing time on the dumpy gas station. A year later I tell someone this story and he said to look up the gas station, I searched all day trying to find it, and when I figured out where I was exactly, there was no gas station to be found, it got demolished. I did some more research and found out it had been abandoned after a mass murderer killed several people in that gas station in the 1980's. I'm not sure I believe in the paranormal or not, I was quite thirsty at the time, maybe I was dehydrated and hallucinated or maybe I caught a glimpse of those victims that day. When I looked at my bank statement, it showed that I never spent 20$ on gas that day, making me feel pretty lucky to find the last of the gas in that pump to make it out of there.

that's intense, being hot, and you're thirsty, hallucination, yes, likely, but, to smell food, see people, then nothing, you had a paranormal encounter. and there was still gas? and you had no credit spent from your account? DAMN, this would make for a sweet short film or story (which you shared here) but, oh, id like to hear more

These were all terrifying, but the worst one for me was the second story since we never found out what happened with that maniac and his victim. I sure hope that poor soul is safe and sound!

Chances are those never have a happy ending kidnappings are usually rare to see a victim saved. It's unfortunate but that's why you gotta at least be able to either carry a licensed fire arm, a taser if that's legal or pepper spray strong ones at least.
The author of the second story's a total bitch. In moments like that, the people with real noble spirits prevail
I used to manage a 24/7 gas station. The worst people always show up between 2AM and 6AM. From homeless guys that “bathe” in the bathroom to jackasses trying to rob you, you see it all. And I don’t miss it

The last story really shocked me. It was unfortunate for her on both counts. She got out of one dangerous situation to coincidentally walk into another. This just shows how absolutely terrifying it is to be a woman sometimes...

I can’t give you a source because I don’t remember the gentleman’s name but he was a former detective in a big town. He told me “if people knew how many creeps and predators were out there, no one would be outside.”

It's funny you mentioning that... I'm a former Pararescueman, and I'm in the middle of writing up some of my weirder stories from my continuation training days... lot of time spent in ERs and out in ambulances... and have been considering sending them in to a channel like this one.

The second story was the first time I’ve really gotten terrified from you’re stories since story two of the Chuck E. Cheese horror stories, all you’re stories are great and I always love listening to them

I should send my story in. I am 54 now but back in 1996, before everyone carried cell phones, I was driving on I-10 in New Orleans, ran out of gas and was almost kidnapped. Long story but God, I sure learned some life lessons out of THAT trip. No cell phone, no gun and about 25 years old.

My family only ever had to deal with this scenario once and thankfully nothing bad happened, but its something we are careful to NEVER let happen again. The most scary thing about these stories, is that they're real! I got totally spooked by the second, & the third stories. I hope that innocent people always try hard to be careful, & in worst case scenarios to find help at once by good people.

Excellent topic choice! Perfect for the heavy rain and thunderstorms! Just got home a few days ago from a road trip to Texas. So many small towns and areas of poor reception. It was fun finding an Italian diner that served lobster ravioli and tiramisu along the way, & felt better with a car that's good on gas.

i would like to point out however, in the second story, they said they lost cell service and tried to call 911 and it didnt go through, 911 WILL ALWAYS go through. it doesnt matter if you found an old sidekick or a juke or something if it has battery life, and its a phone, it can call 911, service or not
unless the phone itself fails. as in fails to complete the call or text. It happened to my phone before. but not with 911, just regular calls.
If there's no network it can't go through, no way around that. However, emergency calls will use any network, not just the one you pay for.
@@gchecosseexactly. If you have no service whatsoever, even emergency calls won't go through. But say you have, idk, sprint and you're only near a Verizon tower, you can dial 911 👍
I don't know if it can be counted as a phobia, but the deep and intense fear oh running out of gas and without being able to call for help.... top 5

For the record- even if your phone has no bars, you may still be able to call 911 / 999 / 000 / the emergency services in your country. Any normal call you make will be routed through only your phone provider, but emergency service calls will be routed through any available providers - there is a good shot your call will make it through.
I just got out the door to head to Subway. This will be perfect to listen to on my drive there. Hopefully, I don’t run out of gas though

@@ArashiNoSeito Yeah, pizza’s at Subway are rare. In my city, we once had 4 subways and 2 of them did and both of them were in Walmarts, but now, there’s just 2
