Just from my experience.. don’t forget the hose clamp that holds air tube to throttle body before you can take off engine cover.. it isn’t shown in this video. Other than that I was done in less than an hour.
This is not the same instillation video on your website for this part... At 3:49 the mass air sensor assembly does not come with this kit, i called your number and this part seems to not exist. Anyone installing this go to their website and watch the video.
If that's the case, something was not installed correctly. You should take it back to the installer to diagnose the problem. I've had no problems with mine.
What type of screws are the ones that mount the plastic cover to the engine? Thread? Pitch? Im pretty sure theyre M6 but I dont know the pitch. Thanks.
The problem with all of these plastic engine covers is they just trap the heat IN, something this engine layout and design is extremely guilty of. Cannot wait to replace my factory intake with the one from SB

Why disconnect the negative battery terminal? Is it to avoid a check engine light?
Why show it on a Dyno without showing results??

sucks it leaves the check engine light on
Jesus Saavedra thanks man, was thinking of getting it but it doesnt sound worth it. theres very little you can modify on new cars . .

Probably put the mass air flow sensor in backwards.
Something is not right if the light is on.
@@itstrigghere7624 It can't be installed backwards.
Is there a way to reinstall the factory valve cover?
Yes there is I have seen it with people use a die grinder to make it fit
Wouldn’t it also increase fuel efficiency a little

Only problem is without the valve cover the engine bay looks ugly as hell.
I was debating trying to mod the factory cover to fit back on. Not sure I trust my dremel work

What is the air bolt on the top of the engine above the throttle body.

Does anyone know if this will fit the 2017 model???
probably, they didn't change anything...
Will not fit the 2017 or 2018. The throttle body is not in the same location as the 2015 and 2016. But they do make them for your model!
Where can I get a pair or 2 of those gloves?
What is the benefit difference between installing the full intake system vs just a K & N air filter?
Less restrictive on filter and the path it takes allows for better passage of air
@@UpNorthMotorsports But it draws a lot of hot air from under the hood.
Would this fit on a 2019 Colorado?

Can I install this on my 2017 Colorado 2.5L 4 cylinder?
Michael Armenta Sr. The 2017 throttle body is in a different location than 2016
The air shield looks like a homemade piece - very ugly and loose. Definitely will not get this for my truck!
its K&N you'd be hard pressed to find a better more reputable company
Just buy the k&n filter to replace the stock one and keep the same housing
