    It's funny how the defence keeps objecting when it gets near to his client, possibly being exposed and calling it a waste of court time!!! Has he forgotten just how he presents his side? Constant repeating over irrelevant points, I know it's his job, but come on!! She knows where Jennifer is and can't say as will prove her involvement.... JUSTICE FOR JENNIFER!

      I've wondered about that often during the last three weeks. I'm sure her family is paying good money for legal representation, and this is all they could find? Beyond embarrassing when he misspeaks or misrepresents what witnesses have said, and then they correct him. Lack of preparation at the very least. Maybe he should stop whispering with the client and taking cues from her. We can already see where her poor judgement has landed her.

      Which is his biggest mistake. What does he think "expert ' means? Thursday's testimony of two experts , and then he's asking dumb questions about navigation systems and cellphone towers. I found the testimony extremely interesting and learned quite a bit about the story your car's navigation system can tell. Maybe he should have paid closer attention to the witness's initial comments before getting up there and making a fool of himself.

  • @user-pq9vh4rk1v
    @user-pq9vh4rk1v 3 месяца назад +8

    Couple of observations: 1) Has anyone else besides me noticed how easily Michelle converses with her attorneys, seems no translator is necessary. I really hope the jury is paying attention to that, as I'm positive the Defense's closing argument will include her "limited" knowledge of the English language😏 2) Someone should advise the Defense Attorney that objecting to DNA, Digital and Forensic evidence makes him look ignorant, or annoying, and neither is attractive. In fact, I think it will make things worse for his client at deliberation time. 3) People seem to be hung up on the employee Pawel. I suspect he inadvertently helped Fotis either hide or destroy some of the evidence, before realizing what actually had happened to Jennifer. Him being granted immunity tells me that the prosecution felt his testimony was necessary to shine a light on the " real Michelle". 4) Really impressed with the investigative work done both by the CT State Police and the respective CT state agencies. As a CT resident, happy to see competent individuals who enjoy their work, and do it well. 5) At this point, no way to gauge what the jury will decide, but hoping they ignore the grandstanding of the Defense, and give serious consideration to the factual evidence presented.

      @@ritaeichler2066 I wouldn't say lame as I think the evidence, particularly regarding the GPS of the Ford Raptor, was revealing. I did think however, that much more detail needed to be shared about the owners of the cell phones who participated in the group texts. Wasn't actually necessary to highlight that Fotis was or wasn't on his phone, but rather the other people he was communicating with.

    • @user-pq9vh4rk1v
      @user-pq9vh4rk1v 3 месяца назад +2

      @@irenetsomidis2167 yeah well for those of us able to lip read, they aren't responding to her in Spanish when they're sitting in court. Also suggest Michelle stop texting whomever while testimony is taking place. She make think this is a cake walk, and her attorney has assured her she'll walk, but some of the evidence presented simply cannot be ignored. Looking forward to the testimony of Kent Mahwinney. If his comments are similar to those of the employee Pawel, Michelle's going to have a problem. And it's amusing her attorney trying to discredit Pawel. Honestly, all three of them are guilty for not immediately reporting what Fotis did. What should really happen here is all three of them go to jail. But two of them cut a deal with the state, and apparently Michelle received some bad advice about not immediately telling all she knew. So now her fate will rest with the jury

    Speaking objections only when judge requests clarification and Judges usually do give long winded speaking rulings to those objections, he knows the law, sustain or over rule objections and move on. Judge focus is the trial, not educate spectators on the law. This is the only Judge I’ve ever seen give speaking ruling on every objection. A good Judge is very knowledgeable on the law, makes a ruling and understands it is not necessary to flaunt his knowledge on the law, speaking objections and speaking justification by the judge of his rulings only waste time an prolong the trial. I know onlookers love this judge because he has a good voice, explaining every nuance to them, the jury doesn’t need to know why a objection is overruled or sustained, they understand the judge is an expert of the law in that court room and they must abide by his ruling, if the Judge made a mistake that is for the appeals court. How many times did Darrell Brooks try to pry an explanation out of the Judge, “I am the Judge, I made my ruling and the record speaks for itself, MOVE ON, ask you next question!

    The defense attorney seems in over his head a bit, asks questions of which an unknown or surprise answer is provided
    objects to no end. His delivery is quite annoying. 😮 He is throwing linguini, angel hair, penne pastas all over the wall, trying to make anything stick. And let's not forget the endless frivolous motions.
    Judge Randall is always cool, calm, collected. Quite a teacher/mentor to both attorneys, however, he is really teaching the defense attorney so much about the laws, who is coming a across as somewhat of a dingbat.

    I'm honestly not sure why he decided to include this, because it actually seems to hurt Michelle's case, showing that Fotis was up all night, which would make me think that he was planning what he did later that morning. I agree. The cellphone testimony certainly tells a story, doesn't it ?. And if Fotis was supposedly away from 4 Jefferson Crossing on the morning of 5/24, without his phone ,then we'll have to assume MIchelle had possession of his phone. Only wish they had elaborated on who was involved in those group texts, other than Fotis. The evidence that has sealed it for me though, is Michelle having possession of the keys to the Tacoma Truck for several hours. Plenty of time to have an ignition key copied, and that, combined with Fotis's insistence that the employee leave the Tacoma truck, and take the Jeep instead, to the job site on Fri. 5/24, provides the missing piece to the puzzle. And certifies that Michelle was involved, prior to the murder.

      Have to disagree. The forensic and cellphone data tells a huge story. And it's more than coincidence that the three people initially suspected of this crime, are now the same people who's DNA is found all over the crime evidence, whose cellphones indicates their true whereabouts on the morning of 5/24/19, and that they all were communicating with each other, multiple times that morning. The game changer is Michelle taking the keys to the Tacoma ( the day before the murder) and keeping them several hours, before returning them. No doubt now, she had that ignition key copied, and then when Fotis told the employee to leave the Tacoma and take the Jeep to the jobsite on 5/24, yeah, I really don't need to hear anymore. They were trying to set that employee up, knowing once Police knew the vehicle spotted at Waveney Park, they'd come after the employee. Only thing that Fotis & Michelle didn't count on, is that the employee would get suspicious of them, and saved those truck seats.
