I've been on SSI since 2016 and usually they just have me fill out a form every few years to confirm that my circumstances haven't changed and I keep receiving my benefits. I did this just a few months ago and was told my benefits would continue. Now, I just got a letter saying they want a mental consultative exam. I'm on disability for both mental and physical health reasons. I'm really scared to lose my benefits because I still cannot work and I don't know what to do. I have "invisible" disabilities and I know that I seem "normal." I'm intelligent and have a degree so just by speaking to me and looking at me, you wouldn't think there's anything wrong. I never had any kind of interview even when I first applied. I have no idea what to expect.
Let me know how the volume is on this one for you or if I need to mess with more settings in the video editor. I've been recording and posting these a tad quickly since I'm a bit behind on things.

my wife is disabled physically, for the last year. She is bedridden. Can't focus much. In much pain, has concentration issues. SSA or DDS just sent her a letter wanting a telehealth mental exam. My question is, is it ok for her to stay in her bed during the consult? Is that ok? Its a challenge for her to sit very long upright in a chair. He ssi/ssdi claim is based on physical, not mental, but they are asking for this. She has heart issues, diabetic, gets pain management injections on various parts of her body. What should she expect? If they ask for dates and such or for her to recall things, it might be hard. I guess I just want her to get the help she needs and to win the case. She badly needs medicare benefits and she is over 50. Long work history. I just want to help her and get some insight. Thanks.
Man I really hope the person doing my ssa exam is just as friendly as you!! He has only like 2.5 stars and really bad reviews online so, I'm really worried about it, but I really hope the worry ends up being unwarranted

Please test run and review your audio levels BEFORE you post final versions. Your audio/speaking levels drop and rise, but remain below levels of common household background noises/sounds, and you randomly shift between whispers, and occasionally speaking at conversational level - barely comprehensible.
Thanks, they usually seem fine on my headphones but that doesn't always translate over to other devices. I can't dedicate as much time as I'd like to, but I do have some video editing software and will get more aggressive on the sound editing in the future. I will try to be pickier about the sound whenever I make some more time to record videos, but mostly I just want to make sure they are audible, and the levels aren't too wacky or different. Admittedly I've mostly been recording them in one take during relatively brief "found time" moments I might have between scheduled phone call appointments (if a call cancels or doesn't take as long as expected, for example) so they of course aren't the most polished thing in the world. I appreciate your time and feedback so I can try to keep improving them. The volume was a little low at first and then got loud after the slide. Then normalized.
Does the price include exam, DBQ, and nexus letter or is the nexus letter a separate cost?

Why would people drive, isn't the telehealth over the internet?
This is what I'm not sure what to do...over the internet or in person.🤔
