    Is the carousel flat in these cars?

    • @ATAnetwork
      @ATAnetwork  3 года назад +3

      It is! Intense the first time because the car is on the edge and it doesn't feel possible but yes.

    what do they mean when they say you need an “approved karting background”

    • @ATAnetwork
      @ATAnetwork  2 года назад

      For drivers under 15, they want to know that they understand basic car control. Any sort of junior racing experience will be considered, not just karting.

    What do you recommend bringing to the track? I’ll be going to cota for this on Tuesday

      If you have your own race gear, bring that. Besides that, you’ll want comfortable clothes because you’ll be wearing a suit over it. Hat. Sunglasses.

    So how do you get to do something like this

    • @ATAnetwork
      @ATAnetwork  3 года назад

      By signing up for one of Skip Barber's programs! They have a schedule of where they'll be on their website - skipbarber.com :)

      Awesome, thank you. Without contacting them, is there a set price to do this? I couldn’t find anything about that on their website.

      @@drewwillis8950 if you go to their schedule and click on a program you're interested in, it'll take you to the MotorsportsReg website and it has the pricing on there.

      Okay cool. Thank you for the help. I’m pretty new to the channel but would definitely like to know a little more about you. How long have you been karting and do you do a lot of big races?

    • @ATAnetwork
      @ATAnetwork  3 года назад

      @@drewwillis8950 always been a fan of racing, didn't get the chance to until 2016 when I started racing in a rental kart league at the Gateway Kartplex. Won the championship in 2017 and earned a scholarship to move up to the Ignite Series (LO206 4-cycle driver owned karts like my latest vlog). Last year I won the Ignite championship at Kartplex and second in the traveling regional series. I've only done one big national event down in Miami with SKUSA and actually packing up right now to take on WKA Charlotte in the Ignite class. I'll be doing a lot of kart racing this year as well as I'll be doing the Skip Barber race at COTA at the end of the month!
