In this video I am making a small case or tool roll for a set of Wera Kraftform Micro Torx drivers which I recently purchased. As Wera do not have an inclusive set of these available I wasn't able to buy a set which came with one of the usual cases so I decided to make one for myself instead.
Just recently decided to get into leather craft. I’m learning so much! I don’t have any money for tools just yet, but thanks for making these videos to help me get some knowledge :). I hope one day I can get good enough to teach my kids
What an absolute class act you are, Mr Atkinson. I've always thought your work is fantastic and that you make the best tutorials on the internet. And now you decide to make another brilliant video, that just happens to be perfect for what I had in mind for my next hobby project. Thanks ever so much for sharing.
Great work Ian. Nothing is better than making making your own storage devices for your tools. I have a long ways to go for all the tools I have but they just look so much better that way. Awesome.
Very nicely designed and professionally executed custom-case project! I even like your sleeve booties :-) Your materials are beautiful and carefully treated leaving no working scars and scratches as well. I'm sure the case is worth much more now than the tools in it. This video is a wonderful lesson in leather-crafting techniques, tools, materials, and supplies for all levels of interest. Thank you for sharing it, sir.
Wera, are some of the best tools out there, imho, so they deserve a nice case, I've got several of their screw drivers, and really recommend the laser tip versions,, superb work Ian, as usual,,,,,
Ian. Wonderful video. I make my pouches similarly (but a lot messier than yours) I have discovered a child's craft item that helps with prototyping. In the US, it is called 'Fun Foam'. It is sold in sheets of different thicknesses. It simulates 'leather' much better than any other inexpensive material. In addition to being thicker than paper, you can actually sew it with regular thread. I use it instead of paper and before I go to my expensive leather. Not sure what it is called in the UK. Usually craft stores sell it in packs or you can get individual sheets. Pennies for a mockup instead of using expensive leather. Again. My thanks for all your effort in showing us your techniques.
@@Leodis.Leather That low beam square is the same on I have. I use it on almost every project to get a perfect right angle. The low beam makes it perfect for leather. I am trying to get Veritas (in Canada) to make (and sell) a larger one. Mine is only 4 inches. I want one that is 8 inches. Thank you again.
I wanted to do something similar to get a few assorted pens, pencils and a notepad out of my pocket and onto a belt loop. How much trouble would it have been to wet-form something like that?
Hi ian. May i ask what material used to reinforce soft and thin leather like napa for handbag so they stand upright? And also how would you punch still holes with those soft leather? Thanks!
Hello Ian! greetings from Wembley - Can you please tell me what's the tonnage of your Arbor press ? - the one you've used to stamp your logo. Much appreciated. thanks
@@Leodis.Leather Thanks Ian, I am really sorry just one more question: do you know where can I buy J&E Sedgewick Bridle leather up to 1,5 or 1,6mm? Thanks for your support Ian. Btw I am a big fan of your amazing videos. Thanks mate
don't worry it'll still be here tomorrow, I've released this a bit earlier than normal (Saturday morning in the UK rather than Saturday evening) as I have to work later.

Hi Ian, what PC programme do you use for creating your initial drawings? I think that I need something that is simple to use!
Do you have a video about the press you used?
