Hello Toby, Coloured vinyl produced these days is very good and there is very rarely any difference between colour and black. However, colour vinyl produced in the late '70s (when it 1st came popular) through to the mid '80s was prone to sound degradation. I have a slew of Stiff colour vinyl from the '70s that have been very well looked after, but there is a noticeable drop in SQ. But, that aside they are always good to have in ones collection. Keep up the good work. Russell.
Judging by the state of your red album I would say it's been stored somewhere prone to static build up. My advice is to invest in some anti static liners for the inner sleeves, aside from that both the red and the blue look awesome, hope they sounded as good as they looked.
A couple of nice finds there, very nice, well done, cheers, Dave 😊

I have the german red and blue albums on black vinyl and also the DMM german pressings on red and blue vinyl.
