Hey Sam, I think I out did ya with the bilateral calcanea fractures mate. I smashed both my heels beyond repair, smashed both ankles, the left Fibula and a bunch of bones in my left foot. I have been in a wheelchair for nearly 5 months now, left foot was in a reinforced double cast for 3 months and now in a moon boot, right foot was in a cast for 2 weeks then a moon boot for 4 months so far, so I have 2 moon boots now too. I just got home from hospital yesterday since being admitted in early May. I've had 2 operations on the left foot and now have 5 plates and 28 screws holding it all together (I'm pretty sure I now have shares in Bunnings!). I've got about 12 months of Physio to get through now and will be in the wheelchair for about another 2 months. I am only now allowed to try to put weight on my feet but only with the boots on. I fell through a roof 5m high and landed on rocks. I landed on my feet but quickly learned that only works for cats so... next time I'm on the roof, I'm gonna strap a cat to each foot just in case! If it doesn't help with the landing the sound will be satisfying anyway. hahaha.
My 120 Prado with no front drive shaft agrees that the best 4wd runs in 2wd only. (Taking the front drive shaft out and locking the centre diff is easier than replacing crunchy front CVs lol). Prado is just a jacked up station wagon anyway.
You really like giving yourself literally the bare minimum time to finish a build and take it on a trip immediately and then on the way to your trip you find like 7 problems because you just finished the build 😂😂 love you tho ❤ big fan for lots of years
Awesome M57 swap! If you don’t need the old pitman arm, just use a cut off wheel on the grinder and cut into the arm to release tension, then press it off.
For the steering arm you need to try the two hammer trick. A sledge held against one side of the splined boss/hub and then smack it as hard as you can several times on the opposite side. It shocks and slightly stretches the boss and gets them off every time.

You gonna rechrome around the parker lights? if not i could possibly sell you my 2 spares (is for 1992 4Runner but i believe that part is the same as the LN106) keen to see this weapon going proper, might have to convince the bosses to let me do this to my runner :P
Sam no one is watching anymore because your builds are just Frankenstein builds, then don’t make sense and they look like crap. Build up a crazy FTE or go wheeel the nuts off a jacked TD42 or tow test them until they break or just something other than this!

It’s only a 2” body lift and it gives a lot more space for trans and exhaust. These trans are waaayy bigger than the g52 stock in the Lux.
