I believe the stainless steel exhaust needs to be purged with argon. The black stuff on the inside can lead to cracks over time due to the heat cycling of the exhaust.
Correct i did purge some of it! But near the back i didnt bother, If it were intake piping i would 100% purge it!

When welding sheet metal alternate from one side to the other to reduce chance of warping. Also for heat dissipation you can use a block of copper or brass if the back of the panel is accessible.
when I first saw the K truck so many eps ago It really wasn;t my jam so when it dropped as a build episode I skipped it. But I love builds especially watching the process of nutting stuff out. Eventually I got bored and caugh up..7.9° of awesome. Fab work off it's head, can;t wait to see this thing wheel once she's (it is a she?) finally tuned and track ready.

May, the K-truck💪😎 you need to hit up kincrome for a better copper/tube cutter macca. I had a set of those cutters 15 years ago. Compression fittings they are mate👍 all good your a sparkie not a plumber😅 great vids mate, been following you 2 for a long time now.🇦🇺😎

If you want an easier way of straightening out the alloy roll when it’s still in its roll, roll it out along the ground with your foot or hand so it rolla flat
For sure i tried that but didnt go very flat still havea big bow!

Hey mate love the vids.When your welding tig, when terminating the weld make sure you leave the tig torch there for the post flow gas. Keep that molten pool shielded mate chase those rainbow unicorn welds 👍 love ya work lads keep it up yewwwwwww
