I feel like we talk so much of recent Miss Universe queens, why not go way back and pay tribute to queens of yesteryears? A series of top 5/10 gowns from each decade from 1960's up to the 1990's. I personally would to hear your thoughts on how those gowns could be modernized if a modern day queen were to wear them. Just a suggestion though. 😅 I think it would be cool for newer pageants to see how much fashion in pageantry has evolved through the decades.

I like best the top one Miss Vietnam 2018 looked amazing. A yellow gown that I remember perfectly is the one wore by Miss Phillipines 2013 I mean it was simple and so elegant and suit her perfectly. 💛💛

I was scared that you would miss Vietnam 2018’s yellow gown as the video going on and on towards the end. Such a relief for me at the end of the video 😅. Hennie’s yellow gown and her prelims performance are legendary. I don’t think we will see it again soon in pageantry.
Love that you always include a mix of MU telecast finals, and prelims. Sometimes we forget prelim gowns, but wow!! I love Miss Cambodia’s gown for the same reasons you do 😍 I know Abena Akuaba is MGI, but her yellow gown was also very incredible🤩

For me under IMG era, the yellow gowns that stood out are: miss universe 2016 france preliminary evening gown and miss universe 2018 Vietnam.. both gowns are perfectly made.

I disagree because as a Vietnamese American, I will tell you that the translator really missed the mark. Vietnam has beautiful delegates but they do not train enough in English and it really limits them.

I liked Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados's prelims gown. Better suited for photos than for walking though, as the bottom of the gown that was draping out looked awkward as she walked. But a beautiful gown nonetheless.

I still can't get over Monic Perez Miss Puerto Rico 2013 yellow gown at the Miss Universe preliminary. I wish contestant would start going for gowns like this again. I'm kind of over the typical sheer sparkle gowns. They're stunning don't get me wrong but too over done now.
I don't know why many hated Rabiya's gown so much, I'm guessing that they just simply into the HATE train that is already going on before the said pageant. AND YES THE CAMERA AND THE ANGLE DIDN'T DO PROPER JUSTICE WITH THE A LOT OF GOWNN LIKE RABIY'S

They did Miss Phillippines 2020 Rabiya dirty by giving her that yellow outdated gown . It looked very underwhelming plus the earring and hair style is just not it on beautiful Rabiya .
As a Vietnamese and a person interested in design, I think Miss Vietnam's dress in MU 2018 is too overrated because its top is a bit ugly and monotonous. Only the effect of its bottom saved the dress and made her performance outstanding.
