Learn your history. Palestine was created by the Romans by changing the name of the Jews traditional homeland to punish the Jews for resisting occupation. Jews are the oldest known human habitants of that area and have always been there despite being colonised by various other civilisations. The last people where the British who defeated the Ottoman empire in WW1. In 1947 Britain along with the UN divided the area into the 2 states of Israel and Palestine. Israel agreed to a peaceful solution but Palestinians along with several other Arab countries rejected the peaceful solution and attacked Israel. Despite defeating the Arab attack Israel allowed the Palestinians to continue living in the area and have probably regretted it ever since. For a bit of fun research how many terrorist organisations have Palestinian links, see how many you can count before running out of fingers and toes. Ask yourself why none of the Islamic countries will allow them in or why Egypt has built a big wall on its border to prevent them entering.
