I will never EVER get tired of saying how perfect Elizabeth Olsen is for the role of the Scarlet Witch. After watching Multiverse of Madness, I'm just head over heels for this woman and her character (Wanda), like a million times more and these interviews of her just like DOUBLES that.
Interviews like these show why the MCU franchise has had such long running success, all the movies have such huge casts but all of them really seem to discuss each other like they're a family, it seems like all of them get on really well with each other. it's genuinely really wholesome to see.
These two were amazing in Multiverse of Madness. They played their characters so well. They both had a character arc and in the end they both did what they felt was the right thing to do. Amazing acting abilities. Amazing chemistry. Amazing movie
Well, I don't do horror. And the evil, powerful female trope is just so disturbing. They did the same thing to Jean/Phoenix in X-Men. And Daenerys' going beserk in GOT? Why do brilliant, powerful women scare some scriptwriters? Have they never heard of Queen Elizabeth l? Joan of Arc? Zendaya? LOL Brilliant, powerful women are usually the good "guys."
Was the movie that good ? I was just going to wait until it’s on Disney+ in a few weeks, a month, but I was thinking of actually going to theater to see it. Either that or Top Gun in couple weeks (after delayed forever) which is type of movie you want to see on big screen.
@@cecilebarton4283 the thing is when the make a female centered movie they usually depict the female heroine as a fighting force against not her enemies but "men". brilliant powerful women usually are thrown all over the movie to a point that it becomes cringe tbh. There's a lot of powerful women in the movies and you should appreciate them being antagonists for a change lmao, why should men be the villains always.
What a lovely conversation! I love that Benedict went straight to Sebastian Stan when talking about most handsome superheroes. I love how secure he is with himself!
I honestly did like the updates to Strange's costume in MoM. Changing from a less wrinkly material/design to a more solid/smooth surface really brought out the design more and kind of elevated it from a costume or robes to more of a super hero suit in a sense. Same with Wong's costume this time around. Less just a robe to more suit hero attire.

Lizzie's face when they asked if Scarlet Witch was stronger, coupled with the fact that they both went to strongly agree, kind of made it seem like it gets settled in Multiverse of Madness. This just got me more excited.
Really, one of the most amazing things about the MCU is that they've cast DOZENS of actors as these characters over the last 15 years and they ALL seem to get along and genuinely enjoy each others' company. Can't recall ANY stories of actor friction from the MCU like with The Fast & The Furious movies. That's pretty spectacular when you think about it.
Thing is, a lot of the actors have worked with each other in the past, so they do have a history that goes beyond the MCU. One example is Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson were both in a movie from 2004,theyve all crossed paths before.
@@eleazarbatalla9821 it's his movie, but she IS more powerful than him. it would make no sense if out of nowhere he could suddenly overpower her. even tho she's (AGAIN) a superior being that was "defeated" in his movie through bargain and emotional blackmail.

She is spot on on the accents! Australians get american and brittish content on their tv's all the time. The opposite happens way less. It's hard to imitate something that you've rarely heard. On a side note, when English isn't the first language, exposure plays a great part as well. It's also why some people from some countries have such a thick accent when they speak English and others don't. It all depends if you grew up listing to the actor's voices or dubbed voice-overs. In Europe it's quite easy to spot certain nationalities in a room where everyone is speaking English. And it's always the ones who grew up with movies dubbed over. The others who grew up with subtitles speak English with a sort of "international" flavour to it.
I would say that's definitely part of it, though interestingly I had an effective speech teacher tell me once that Australian accents are hard for others to do because we use less of our mouth muscle than English or American and it's difficult to shut the muscle down as opposed to learning to use them more...
I’m Australian myself and have never ever struggled with another accent, as soon a I hear it I can imitate it, the same goes for almost all other Australians I know, especially accents from all around the UK, very interesting, I wonder why.
7:48 First I thought how Cumberbatch chose Baseball over cricket but later when he realised and changed decision to cricket being better, I had a laugh and Sigh of relief all together😂😂
@@nsh1772 What makes cricket the best sport in the world?I never played so I don't understand when you and others say in these comments it's the best sport in the world
@@twincesseszeigler4366 It is subjective but the more you understand cricket, the more you start to enjoy it. ( It's common for every sport but cricket just hits different ) For starters, it is one of the most difficult sports to play. To play cricket, you need physical fitness, stamina, endurance, mental strength and mental toughness, teamwork, leadership, discipline etc... All needed in a player to perform decently in the sport. As Benedict said, a Test Match, which is the longest format of the game, goes on for 5 days, so it takes a massive toll on a player physically and mentally. In Test cricket, players look to stay in as long as possible and score as much runs as they can. When someone doesn't understand cricket watch Test matches, they will get bored easily, because for a non-cricket lover, it seems like not much is happening in the game. But for someone who understands the match, and what goals each team is trying to achieve during the day, it is the most fascinating thing to witness. The small battles between players ( from skill of course, not from fists ) the banter, verbal exchanges, the crowd backing up their respectful team, the celebrations of players when they achieve small goals, these are all eyegasm for test cricket lovers. Also, it one of the few sports where conditions are very important, because the weather and the humidity hugely affects the pitch, the ball condition, how quickly the ball travels in the ground, etc... Another thing is, and I think that this is the most important, it is known as the "Gentleman's Game". It is a non-contact sport, and players are expected to be respectful and disciplined. This is my opinion, so it is absolutely okay if you disagree.
Who the hell thinks Doctor Strange has a bad facial hair??!! It is my third favorite after Tony Stark and Thor. I also liked the Captain America (infinity war).
lizzie is bang on with her theory on accents! growing up in australia, i’ve consumed both american & british entertainment (as well as aussie) so it’s super easy for me to do a british & american accent :)
My theory as to why Australians can do both accents is: 1: In support of what Elizabeth said --Australians do watch a lot of both American and British TV shows, so we pick up both accents very well (without even trying I can slip into either British or American accents just by listening to someone speaking with either accents in person, sometimes even when no one is present. I had one British lady ask me where from England I was from because I had an accent, and my best friend who is American said I sounded American, lastly at work I am often called out for having a British accent for no reason). 2: Australians have an amalgamation of accents, and while most can identify an Australian accent it is unique because of how much we've been influenced by other cultures (we have a very strong Greek and Italian migrant population for example) and because of this blend, we don't have a definitive accent but a generalization of multiple. 3: We're just that good :P
that's only partially accurate. Australians can probably only do "General American" convincingly which is the accent taught to actors and utilized almost exclusively on media. American accents across the country vary immensely. Same can be said of British Isles accents (liverpool is different from the myriad of London accents). But it is accurate to suggest that since you have media readily available that Australians are better at slipping into a specific American and British accent than those peoples can.
6:30 As an Australian, I was shocked by how Lizzie nailed this? Growing up here, the content on TV was a mix of American, British and Aussie - cinema probably about the same too. We absorbed more of the culture from those places on TV for a while, and there were also more options to watch content from many other countries too because of the diverse audience. Plus if you want to act as an Aussie, you probably have British and American options to audition for 🤷♀️ I’ve always thought the content consumption was a factor for Aussie actors, and also Aussies in general for understanding other accents. The idea that saying ‘water’ with anything other than an “American” accent (for whichever location you’re in) in America and being met with confusion is bizarre to me.
The movie could’ve been done better, but the actors did their jobs phenomenally. I loved the movie still cause marvel and will enjoy a marvel movie no matter what. But the actors and especially these two were the highlight of the film
You have no idea how much I enjoyed watching Benedict realize his mistake and move his glass to strongly disagree when it came to the cricket-baseball question after which he continued to explain how there's a fast and slow game, and test cricket, until the two finally came to an understanding. Stuff is peak comedy, I'm telling you.
We need the Marvel actors to just hang out as their characters. Like in Age of Ultron when they were just hanging out and tryna pick up Thor's hammer or in No Way Home when the 3 Peters were talking before the fight, it's so fun just seeing them interact
Very fun chemistry they have! They riff off of each other so well. I think Benedict can get along with everyone and with Elizabeth he can get on her wavelength much better than other MCU cast members so far (besides Paul Bettany). She has a really lowkey type of humor.
Benedict's performance in THE POWER OF THE DOG was at the top of every (English language) film list for stand - out greatness. HE SHOULD HAVE WON THE OSCAR.

7:20 sums up the whole movie.
Bit she didnt
My theory as to why Australians can do both accents is:
1: In support of what Elizabeth said --Australians do watch a lot of both American and British TV shows, so we pick up both accents very well (without even trying I can slip into either British or American accents just by listening to someone speaking with either accents in person, sometimes even when no one is present.

@@roopamaurya4766 what? Are you saying the guy who went toe to toe with infinity ultron with 6 stones, ate a galaxy buster attack like a snack, literally destroyed his universe singlehandedly loses to her?
Isn’t the Doctor just a genius guy that learnt magic… while the Daughter of Magneto has the X gene…& natural abilities
@@roopamaurya4766 yeah and I am asking how? It’s fine you are disagreeing, but how can she possibly beat him? Defend your statement
Pls, the proud look on Lizzie’s face when she strongly agreed on being the strongest Avenger. 😂 she’s so cute
Rune king Thor is the strongest
Don't @ me look it up before u comment saying I'm wrong
He's basically as strong as superman strongest form
@@HellSpartanZ but rune king thor won't be in MCU, so don't even bring him, and if you go by strongest versions of comics, black priest strange, don't even need to talk abt classic strange who can defeat rune king thor with ease
@@Naruto-ts7qd says who there's talk he will be in the new movie who knows never say never 😉
@@Naruto-ts7qd also nope look shit up dude Rune king Thor would win plus
Punisher strange is his strongest so I don't know why u didn't say his strongest form😂 Rune king Thor is stupidly overpowered
@@HellSpartanZ Classic Dr Strange would one shot Rune King Thor. Current Scarlet Witch would one shot Rune King Thor. Rune King Thor is highly overrated and even Loki is current far more powerful than him in the comics.
