None of the features can be added without upgrading the machinery. Just adding it to the model doesn't make it happen. Nearly all of the features require the more specialized machinery as well. Electronics is the exception. So as of the end of this video, your heater is not being added. To add the heater, you have to replace your current Accessories machine with the six different more specialized machines for Accessories. Then, find the particular machine that can be upgraded to install heaters, and click on the upgrade button for the heater. Only then will it start ordering and installing heaters.
a couple of points. you placed your slots waaaaay to close to each other. 1. Once you have researched the tech to break down those slots into their component parts (something you will need to do to put accessories on your cars), it will be a massive pain since you will have to reorganize your entire factory. Even if you don't have the accessories researched, braking down the slots will massively increase your throughput, so you want to be doing this as soon as is financially possible to do. One fully broken down Chassis Assembly slot can produce a Chassis ever 1-2 minutes, or 35-50 chassis an hour (I don't have the exact figure in front of me). 2. instead of just equipping every new thing into your car, create a new model to sell with the accessory equipped. That way you don't have to offer discounts for unequipped accessories down the road. As you may have as many as 100 cars on the track that won't get that new item installed causing you to have to discount all of them to sell them. 3. Don't include an accessory onto a car model until after the accessory slot has been built on the factory floor as this will cause a lot of cars to go to the sales floor missing accessories. 4. There is a Blueprint mode you can go into, use it to lay out how you want to configure your factory once every slot is fully expanded, then use that to place each slot so that you will already have the proper spacing in your factory.
Loving the game EE - like a throwback to the Big Pharma days (and incidentally if you ever get the urge for more of that, I'd love to see it back. That, and Motorsport Manager, were some of my favorite management games). Also, loving the use of Nigel Stanford's _Automatica_ at around 10 minutes. Was jamming out to it as I watched and then realised it was the game's soundtrack - good dev choice!
Hi EE! I don't know if you'll see this, but you need to change your conveyor intersection to turn tables instead of just cross overs. i.e. make sure each output of one part can get to as all inputs of the next part. Hope you see this.
I remember seeing Steejo play this years ago and really liked it even though it can be extremely technical and hard to understand what's on the screen. Keep em comming!
Rather revamping the whole first section why don't you just cut where they can go in half. So rather than all 4 fit bodies able to go to all 4 engines only allow 2 fit bodies to go to 2 engines twice. You might get a little bottlenecking, but it should solve you're problem.
I'm late but you should've named the company "Elysium Vehicles" which is EV, also called Electric Vehicles, or "Elysium (whatever) Ltd." Gives it more of a "corporate" name.

I like that the music is unlike other modern factory games, reminds me of Dynatech from the Amiga era.
