The heat has more distortion circuits which are way too many for me. I didn't want to buy features that I know I wouldn't use. Als I don't need the interface on the heat, got plenty of options there already. The Boum has a dedicated compressor. That and the sufficient feature set mande my decision. Soundwise it's awesome. 🤘😎
@@AndreasRoet yes, I’d probably buy the Boum as well and skip the Heat. Heat is probably perfect for not-necessarily-Elektron users or guitarists who want crazy distortion.
Yes and no. Compare the feature set of each box and ask yourself if you really need the features. I didn't need all those features so I opted for rhe boum.

How does the OTO Boum compare to the Analog Heat? I also own the A4/OT and unable to decide whether to get the Boum or the Heat…
