- Test of a Fire-Lite MS-9200UDLS addressable system. The 2 smoke detectors seen in this clip are tested via a Solo smoke detector device.
This device is designed to spray an alcohol-based solution into the detector to simulate fake smoke. If you listen closely you can hear it spray prior to activating the detector.

SAFETECH I've always used the one that you have but the 365 only dispenses enough smoke to activate the detector so if it doesn't activate, it's failed. And you don't waste smoke. Well worth investing in for the future. And cheers for heading over to my channel!

That horn/strobe needs to be replaced, it made that weird noise when it stopped.
Most all Spectralert Advance's do that in walk-test it's quite normal actually with these being set at such a high pitched decibel level in the first place.

That fire alarm need to.be repared or replaced listen how it sound when it shuts off it sounds sick i never heard a fire alarm turn.off like that but i did hear a horn make a short blast after system reset but that donset sound normal right there

That's just the way SpectrAlert Advances are.

You could just open and close that bg12 to reset it
You can't. BG12s don't work like T-bars.

These horns are the horns of my nightmares because they replace everything that is interesting and are so boring.
I dont think it normal i never in my life heard a fire alarm turn off like that in my life plus avances are the wrost fire alarms ever there way to loud and they scare the crap out of you i hate advaces because of it
