I think the intent behind the bit at the start of the second verse was to show that this narcissistic sentiment and persona that rappers tend to adopt, it does not help, but isolates the person more. As a person who craves the real connections with his family, tries to fill that gap with fans and women, he feels more empty.
The point of the second verse where he reveals a perspective on relationships and women is to show how a boy without a father has a lasting impact on his views on relationships especially that with women. He’s making the point that without a father’s guidance a man is affected in all aspects of his life, this isn’t about hip hop chauvinism. Also there’s no way the second verse are his personal views, their being made to make that point that boys without a fatherhood figure in their lives will always suffer, will always have something lacking, a void, immature or clueless. Faris’ lyrics are more poetic than rap and the point especially a moral one is never explained in a straightforward manner and is always hidden in profanity or humour almost Rumi like. Also Faris and Meesha’s parents divorced early on in their lives and they lived with their mother who’s a famous actress.
You are on point at 12:00. Father and son relation is very important. The way fathers understand their sons cannot be understood by a mother. What goes inside a mans brain is a mystery for women which only other man can understand.

Especially for those who can relate and find themselves in the same position of trying to suppress their feelings which was what the second verse was about. His intention was to organically represent what went through his mind when he tried to conceal his true feelings. The pain in his voice is so so different from his other songs which is why you are hooked till the end. Absolute king! 👑

As much as your emotions to that segment are valid, my interpretation of it is as follows: He's highlighting the issues the problems he's developed because of the lack of emotional availability he received from his father and so those emotions got displaced with what he mentioned.
