I lost both my parents to suicide when I was a young boy, and as a young 9 year old I would listen to the soothing voice of Sandi Patty (her music was so comforting and gentle, like a mother) ... I listened to her music all through Jr High and High School.. well, by chance in the 1980's I was at the Ohio State fair on a sky lift and I heard Sandi's voice! I nearly jumped off the sky lift and ran into the crowd in attendance which was well into the hundreds if not thousands of people and her and Larnelle Harris began singing this song and after singing it, and out of all those people in attendance, Sandi pointed at me, this young kid and asked me to come forward to the side of the stage and told me that she can see God's presence all over me, she even let me hold one of her kids.. That was a moment in time I will never forget. She had no idea, that her music was the very thing God used to give me hope. Even after all these years, her music inspires me and fills me with peace. I can't wait to meet her again, if not in this life, in the next and I want to share with Sandi Patty my story and how thankful I am for her. POWERFUL. Thank You Lord, for giving us such wonderful talent and filling them with your Spirit.

I met Larnelle Harris when I was going to church at Maple Grove Baptist in Louisville. My youngest sister had his wife as school teacher. They're very sweet people.
I was raised in church and in a christian home, I was in my early 20’s when I made a copy of this song on a 90 minute cassette back to back to give a full 45 minutes on each side. I would turn the cassette tape on in my private prayer time in my bedroom and I would have a glorious time in the sweet presence of The Lord for at least 2 hours! That’s been over 30 years ago and I can still say those sweet and precious times of prayer with this anointed song and singers ( Sandy Patti and Larnelle Harris) were the foundation of which my prayer life began. I met Larnelle in a walgreens in Lexington KY and introduced myself to him. I was there to see Sandi and he perform a Christmas concert. He was gracious enough to stop his searching and converse with me for a couple of minutes. How many people avoid folk who don’t travel in their circles but just want praise to themselves. May God continue to keep these two master singers for God.

Mrs. Wright comment is a blessing to me, because the year 1973 was my birth year. And fifteen years later, I became born again. I first heard of her Sandi Patty when in December of 1994 a Lady I babysat her two kids gave me a audio cassete tape and I then became hooked on her music . I have 2 of her books she wrote and shes a wonderful singer and awesome Christian lady !
This brings back so many memories! My mother played the piano for both Sandi and Larnelle. Larnelle Harris started in a group called the Spurlows. Way back in the early 60’s. Both my parents were in the group. Spur always did recognize great talent!

I know about sandy patty music because of my father he was a faithful Christian and it is been 6 months now since I lost my father but every time I listen this woman I remember my father I must say I was a rebels child back them and the lost of my father has make me come close to God I'm still struggling with my father s dead cuz despite all we were really close and now the only comfort i have is when I try to get close to Jesus I still struggle to this day because there days when I don't get close to God is been years I been separated from his presence and is hard for me to comeback I guess if I haven't lost my father I wouldn't get close to the Lord again this is hard for me. But my hope is that father is with the King of king at least.

It seems like yesterday, but it was in 1973. We were living in New Port News, VA. (military) My husband and I had just been saved by the grace of God. Our neighbors had prayed for our salvation for a year! The four of us went to see the Gaithers at a church in the area. About 1/2 way through the concert, this very young woman stepped forward and began singing (and signing!) 'More than Wonderful'! This VOICE! The PRAISE! Every man woman and child was on their feet simultaneously, hands raised, praising God (now, speaking for myself ...) crying tears of JOY! This incredibly gifted woman ushered all of us into the very presence of our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Mrs. Wright comment is a blessing to me, because the year 1973 was my birth year. And fifteen years later, I became born again. Sandi Patty's music along with, Larnelle Harris, Steve Green and others, was what I was spiritually fed on. Now today, 2016, the 30th March, I will be celebrating 28 years in Christ. Oh! how wonderful Jesus has been to me. He has blessed me with a lovely, God fearing wife and a beautiful son. Thank Him for all His lovingkindnesses toward me. Praise His Glorious Name.

I first heard of her Sandi Patty when in December of 1994 a Lady I babysat her two kids gave me a audio cassete tape and I then became hooked on her music . I have 2 of her books she wrote and shes a wonderful singer and awesome Christian lady !

Excellent revelation ... you loved it for the high performance standards originally and now you STILL love it for the way it sounds, but you've matured into fully recognizing that God's word and the promises contained therein are TRUE ... and you can STAND ON THOSE PROMISES and watch Him bless the works of your hands and work the miraculous in your life PRECISELY when you need it.

My dear friend larnelle I met him when he was with the spurlos in the late 60s he came to westbury baptist church and we sponsored him into our home while he was singing there after the concert he came to back to the house and played our piano and sang for us what a special time in my life .
I never really had anybody out there to count on, not even after getting Saved then, many years ago now. It's been just me & Jesus, when it came right dead down to it then, & even now, if you will. But, He is The One, of course.

I know about sandy patty music because of my father he was a faithful Christian and it is been 6 months now since I lost my father but every time I listen this woman I remember my father I must say I was a rebels child back them and the lost of my father has make me come close to God I'm still struggling with my father s dead cuz despite all we were really close and now the only comfort i have is when I try to get close to Jesus I still struggle to this day because there days when I don't get close to God is been years I been separated from his presence and is hard for me to comeback I guess if I haven't lost my father I wouldn't get close to the Lord again this is hard for me. But my hope is that father is with the King of king at least.

It seems like yesterday, but it was in 1973. We were living in New Port News, VA. (military) My husband and I had just been saved by the grace of God. Our neighbors had prayed for our salvation for a year! The four of us went to see the Gaithers at a church in the area. About 1/2 way through the concert, this very young woman stepped forward and began singing (and signing!) 'More than Wonderful'! This VOICE! The PRAISE! Every man woman and child was on their feet simultaneously, hands raised, praising God (now, speaking for myself ...) crying tears of JOY! This incredibly gifted woman ushered all of us into the very presence of our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ!
