Jin the one with the sunglasses was the one to start with the hearts. he started this during the wings tour last year.he called it the heart event.he would find creative ways to make and hide hearts and when they did their speeches he would reveal them. like hiding a heart in his mic,making a heart out of a wire hanger and hiding it under his shirt.he did it every show and the other members never knew what to expect.the hearts were an event for the army to show his love and appreciation.

I just really wanted to point it out it might seem like a fun song but actually it is a sarcastic song that is mocking the concept of youngsters who like spending money unnecessarily
Though it's two-part. It's ALSO sarcastically pointing out the societal conditions that lead young people to be so worried and spend all their money on cheap things for stress relief

AN98 not exactly.. At least that's what bts said in an interview...that it was sarcastic song.. They don't encourage people to waste their money(remember spine breaker) .. That's why their lyrics, tone of their voice as well their clothes imply that
That is part of it. They are saying "Look at how shit the economy and society has become that this youngsters would rather spend their money for momentary happiness".
Yes, BTS have stylists, but they still have a say in their stage outfits. All of the boys have their unique styles. You also mentioned the way they shoot these live performances is like music videos and you are absolutely right. Korean music shows have some of the best camera work for live performances. It is an important part of the K-Pop overall appeal. The guys (BTS) actually mentioned how much the American Music Awards cameramen and producers had trouble following their dance performance, so they had to have 8 camera rehearsals to get it right.
Man there is just SO MUCH content from BTS that you guys are going to love in their MVs, live performances, etc. I can't wait until you get to it. I also love how you guys are just diving head first into K-Pop in general. There are so many artists out there I can't wait to see you react to them too. lol

I understand what you’re saying. There have been times when I’ve been frustrated either because the video was too loud to make out their comments, or times when I’ve wished they listened more and saved talk for after. But...1. I’ve noticed a better balance in sound in recent videos, and 2. They’re being what they want with their channel. I’ve enjoyed enough over all that it’s been worth sticking around to watch their growth in knowledge of our boys. Not every channel is for everyone. There are some I’ve moved on from myself. If you do decide to stick around, I hope you’ll find things you do like. If not, no one will wish you anything but the best. I love ARMY for that. Outside of a few ‘crazies’ (unavoidable), this fandom is generally polite and supportive. I wish you peace.

I'm so happy you said something about their live stage performance and how they are shot so well, and that you can see the dance and the performance in all. In America, its really sloppy and most of the time it is not synced. You should honestly compare BTS DNA AMA performance to BTS DNA Comeback Show. It truly is like Night & Day... not to say night & day is good or bad, but the US live camera work is totally shit compared to Korean camera work.

The GoGo Heart performance is one of my favorites because they show their love for their fans. Here's a really early performance when they were on the red bullet tour and the energy from their fans is amazing. You can see how exhausted they are but they keep going....

Fun-Fact: The literal translation of the title means “Rather than worrying, Go”. BTS lyrics are actually more satire and pretty sad when you get the meaning. It contrasts with the 'happy' sound, and trending dance moves (+heart-event in this vid). Youth and young adults in Korea live by a ''YOLO'' mentally when it comes to spending money... because of the unfair paychecks (no matter how much overtime you make), 'passion pays' (in where you get 'paid' by work experience instead of actual money) and their high student debts. Saving up in order to build your future (get a house, get married and raise kids) is just too expensive to even think about. So, better spend it all like there is no tomorrow, and have a bit of bittersweet enjoyment, because actually no matter how hard you work to earn money... the future is too depressing anyways. RM talked about this, how his non-celebrity friends say they lack hope nowadays. A sentiment for most youth. Also referred to “given up on 5” generation - relationships, marriage, kids, house and social life. (Cue: high suicide rates, and mental health issues, which are being downplayed and stigmatized often). On top of that the 'older/privileged' generation is scolding this modern generation for not trying hard enough, and urge them to 'work more!' Despite the fact that it's a different kind of environment they have to deal with right now compared to the 'golden' past. While the Storks/Silver spoon 'upperclass' want to maintain this impossible and unfair system, to retain power and status in society. BTS bring these social-political issues out. And are the voice of young people, those who want change. Living up to the meaning of their own name, they want to take their stance on things that need to be said. That's one of the main reasons BTS fans/ARMY and the general public of Korea respect and like the boys. They have a message, and are witty with it. Kpop idols, don't do these type things, because it could create controversy and endanger their own career. So it's incredible that BTS and Big Hit entertainment took this road, and always shared their own stories and those of others who are suffering silently. BTS Songs like 'Baepsae/Crow Tit/Silver Spoon', 'Am I Wrong', even in 'Dope', 'Fire' and 'Not Today' as well talk about this stuff. Hype songs, with strong messages.
