Hi Lance good to have you back for a stew on a Tuesday morning. With regards to the alternator on the classics I have fitted a dynamator to a couple of mine. This is a product that externally looks like the original dynamo but has the internal workings of an alternator. They’re widely available on the internet and although they’re a bit more expensive than an alternator they really look the part.

G Day Lance, nice to see you back on the seat again, that 135 is looking bloody fantasic, I need to make an alternater guard for mine, I've got half a one somewhere. and like mike says I would love to see your little bayler running.

I agree with you about putting an alternator on. Two of my four T20s have dynamos fitted and they just don't keep the battery charged in the winter. Go with what works for you.

Yeah it is 2024 so we may as well use what is available.
