- My trip to Israel started off quite eventful as you may have heard ( • Airplane Medical Emerg... ) but once we got past that the rest of the trip was amazing also! In this video, I cover some of the highlights of the things I experienced and witnessed during my week in Israel.

As a paramedic these innovations are exciting. As ER's, Clinics, hospitals and doctors gain better diagnostic tools, the innovations make their way into our ambulances eventually. Heck yes...
Don't you think that otoscope could be more harmful than benefitial at home? Especially if you put something in the ear which is a pretty sensitive area, who is going to tell the mothers how to use it properly so they don't cause further big problems with misusing it?

And if that was the case with every other thing, then the media would have a wave of negative things and believe me, it would "overpower" the good news. So it's always good to keep a balance between the problems and the good things of a certain topic. But yes I do get your concern

Doctor Mike, if you can, can you add some pictures when your trying to explain some concept, because I’m a visual learner and I’m planning to be a pediatric doctor. All your videos are very interesting and fun to watch, but when your trying to explain medical things, it’s kinda hard for me to follow because of the way I learn. So if you can, can you please add some picture of example, when you explain a concept. Stacy, you would probably enjoy an online medical terminology class. With your learning style it would probably work best to find one that had an accompanying book or workbook along with an online component. I'm still chuckling about some of my mispronunciations, early in my career.

Hello Doctor Mike, would you please make a video about organ donations and transplants in order to bring awareness to its life changing/saving impacts? Also, it would demystify some fears and preconceptions that people may have (ex : compatibility, waiting time, immunodeficiency, process to make sure that the donor is clinically deceased, signing a card versus the opt-out system, etc). There are other you tube channels devoted to this subject, in particular, The Transplant Helper, which helps many people to better understand this practice. Perhaps a collaboration with a specialist as well as a « graftee » could be interesting to many of your viewers... BTW, thank you for your entertaining and enriching videos ! 🙏🤗

It's great seeing how great MedTech is getting, I experienced it myself from a recent hospital visit, no poking around to find my vein, they used an ultrasound and got the IV in in one easy insert!!! Didn't hardly hurt either I was very surprised!!!

The worlds knowledge of autism spectrum disorder is so far behind. My son has nonverbal autism. It’s 2019 and my child is still a Mystery to the medical community.
I was curious, because all my life they've said I have non-verbal learning disability, but I've always felt like it could be autism, do you think they're the same?
My brother has autism and he has a specific habit of hitting himself in a specific place with his hands or the wall. He can talk and he's gradually learning new words thanks to God. Curing things like autism and several other "diseases" is one of the reasons I really want to become a doctor.

I need this so bad to help the world and my parents understand. I know that I have some form of autism/aspergers, but my parents don’t believe me because I look completely normal. I have had to extensively train myself how to respond to the world like how you would program a robot. But I still come off as the weird chic who doesn’t know how to take a joke (because I don’t perceive sarcasm).

What amazing work they are doing for these little heart warriors! My son was born with five different congenital heart defects. We were very blessed that he was able to receive care at the number one hospital in pediatric cardiology, Texas Children's Hospital in downtown Houston. My son had his open heart surgery at 16 days old, he is 20 months old today. I cannot even begin to imagine how mothers/parents in third world countries feel when they are unable to access adequate medical care for their little warriors.

Dr Mike, can you please do a video that talks about BRACA 1 and 2. I was recently found to be positive for the BRACA 2 gene and I think your channel could help educate people on the cancer risks. An entire world has opened up that I didn’t know existed before testing positive. Not looking forward to life of cancer screenings.
