    Owned a 2000 3 cylinder diesel of a similar vintage (early 70s); probably the best series of 2wd tractors ever produced.

    You need a new pto guard it will self destruct because it’s not able to telescope when lifting the three point linkage 🇬🇧🇮🇪

    What size rear wheel and rim do you have on that 5000 if you could tell me please. I just bought a nice 77’ Ford 4600 with 24” rears. I think that’s a bit small for my tractor. I think it calls for 28 to 30” rears on mine. I have 7.50x16 on the front.

    nice ford, i also use a ford 5000 for bush hogging. i also hay with it there nice tractors. they sound nice when there cranked up haha.
