Ill be in Phuket with my family on Jan 17. I booked a 2 night stay at Horizon on a great deal. A little worried about the hill now since I have one old man and 1 baby with us. I hope it will be fine. Will report on the current conditions of Horizon when I stay.
Love to get your feed back I'm sure I've heard people say they run a courtesy bus backwards and forward but I think that was before not sure about now... Do let me know 🙏
31:59 Nice update on Horizon, Tony! Amazing to see the renovation after it has been closed for several years. And you are right, the steep hill is not for babys or old people. 😅
Been Phuket many times. Had intl. license and helmet. Went thru dozens of check points. Never had a problem. After a few times they just waved me thru. Just follow rules, you won’t have problems
Hi Tony, been watching you for a while now. Love your content and would be interested in your perspective for someone to live full time in Phuket. Lot of RUclips content for retirement in Thailand, but most are in Bangkok, Pattaya or north . Love the Patong area but expensive. Visiting again for 4th time in February this year.
20 years ago I learnt to ride a moped in Phuket when I rented it with my provisional driving license I had to push it away because I didn't know how to ride but it took me about a couple of hours to suss it out I come away with my Thai birthmark
No mate, $55 for 12 months from memory. I did mine at RACV office. Will only cover you for licence you hold. If you only have car then it will not extend o MC
I have been there 20 something times since 1995 and would never hire a scooter or motor cycle, I have seen so many tourists with accident damage, on crutches bandaged legs and arms, limping etc. A perfect way to ruin a holiday. Karon is not so busy in this video and I love spending the day onthe beach sun lounges followed by a night in a bar, preferably with live music. There seems to be more restaurants and shops open since i was there in September.
Mellow place boutique has a lovely looking restaurant with rooms above looking forward to staying there on 7 th march thought you might have been@@thailandtony
Please Share your thoughts not only on Karon but also on the topics discussed in the Video 🙏
We love karon
Thumbs up 👍 Tony
Appreciate it, thanks for watching!

Whenever you drive a car or ride a motorcycle/ moped / scòoter, wherever you are in the world be legal, its that simple
A great advice & simple common sense which many seem to loss the minute they step off the plane 👍🙏
