Thanks to finally getting streaming TV my husband and I have found "Murdoch Mysteries". Since we came late to the series we are just now viewing Season 7. Sometimes we do two a night to catch up as fast as we can. It's an amazing show with amazing characters and great plots!
Love Murdoch mysteries I think its lasted so long because it's unique in its setting which makes it a very interesting and refreshing police drama! And of course to have Yannick Bisson as the main character makes it even better! 😉👍

Saw Murdock film live in my hometown of Brantford On, two weeks ago. Up close to Yannick and all the other actors too. It was alot of fun. They film here regularly so our town gets excited. I love the show and really enjoyed Yannick in Sue Thomas FBI. The extras actually sat with me on their breaks and said Yannick was great to work with. Good luck in all endeavours Yannick. Can't wait to see you again!
i think George is a little hard on YANNICK, Yannick is terribly embarrassed by his own popularity, it is not easy for him to talk about himself, and George puts him on the spot a lot. What a sweet humble and very talented man, love Yannick and the show.
I hope they don't cancel murdoch, it's the one of two shows i actually watch next to WWE RAW lol. and it is the best canadian show ever.. what would even compete with it? Red Green? (a lot of those guys make guest appearances!)
Just watched a interview of him at 16, can't believe he became a father 3 years later. Love murdoch mysteries, and I love finding out that when he's not got acting gigs he's using his time to build houses (if that fact is true).
I love this show. The costumes and the lines they get in relating to the future. e.g. Crabtree and the future post it notes (stickies). Yannick Bisson isn't too hard ont he eyes either.
So annoyed, finished watching MM on Netflix and it only goes to season 3, why! they not showing rest of the seasons. Really great show, must admit I love looking at Yannick's eyes. I have read that he doesn't wear mascara and eyeliner, he just have these beautiful curl eye lashers, though every time I watch MM it still looks like he has eyeliner on.

That's how I keep up with it since I couldn't wait for the episodes to come on tv here even though they've already caught up to season 8 on tv here. But I can't wait for an entire year for the season 9 episodes to come out so have to check it online.
Yannick is marvellous in Murdoch, a very versatile actor. Harper the incompetent economist, who classically does not tell the truth/breaks the law ect.., makes a good actor. Truly good for him, perhaps he should take up acting, as he has not proven competent in many regards as the PM of Canada.
I've always liked the show, but I read the books first and was really surprised at the difference. The books and the show are two different animals; they bear no resemblance to each other at all. The show sometimes gets really silly, and I find it totally nothing like reality!!
