My favorite album, The Information. What a masterpiece. There are layers of sound in there that most faux music fans will never understand or appreciate.
I really like The Information, but I haven't read anything positive about it from fans or the press. I'm surprised. There's filler on it but enough essential songs for me
That's the running theory dating back to this interview. But my take is that he's pretty ambivalent about it all. He mentions several religious exposures in his life from Judaism to Catholicism in his family but doesn't stand behind any in this segment.
@@bnmbg731 Yay! as an ex-Scientologist I am so happy to hear that! Coercion and Harassment, Deceit and Human Slave Labour Trafficking and pushing you to the edge of a psychotic break, that is my experience of that CULT. And of course it was not his experience, they treat celebrities like gold because they need them to pull in more members.
Not for the first time. He always answers, when asked, but I'm not sure what people expect him to say. He's not there to promote the religion, he's not there to slam it, so what can he say, really? Whatever he says is going to make someone unhappy, so he stay diplomatic.
His hair is everything
Well, not everything- there's his adorable face too! ...and his humor, and his talent.... His hair is amazing though
F. U! I'm balding...
Huh?
@@InjuriousPersonalities Beck's hair is great
I thought the interviewer was going to kill him a couple of times in this interview
He did. Sad story, but in a way Beck of Death took it to a new level after this.

someone should tell Strombo he should sit further off his chair.
***** Neat-o Joe.
He looked ready to get up
For reals... talk about in your face journalism. Is this even considered journalism lol? Strum’s eyes cut through the bone
Rumor has it he practices his interviews on the toilet
Best interviewer bar none
Agreed, he makes his guests always feel comfortable.
Interviewing Beck is like pulling teeth.
My favorite album, The Information. What a masterpiece. There are layers of sound in there that most faux music fans will never understand or appreciate.
That's your favourite beck album? Which track in particular
Scotty Nguyen's 80s Mullet
I like them all. The first song that pops up to me though is Soldier Jane.
Soldier Jane does stand out for some reason to me also!! The whole lineup is very catchy though!! Brilliant work!!
Skelet3n pretty pretentious statement. Do you sport a monocle and pipe whilst you muse on your musical prowess?
Love this man. Beck is the bomb 💣. I love this record he is doing press for. The Information...

This guys an awesome interviewer. It’s too bad he doesn’t do it anymore
Getting Clear! 💕 BECK! 🥀💖🥀
The interviewer seems to have a certain..errr...inquisitive MMA vibe.
he looks so pretty here
4:37 thank me later
Thank you 😊
Arlo KILpatrick huh?
Thank you!!!
thank you
I wish Beck wasnt a Scientologist
Politicus Troll well said.
He's like an everything dude.
I still wish Beck wasnt a Scientologist
He has to be otherwise Xenu wont help him make new songs.
if Xenu helped him write Wow, then Xenu can let him write by himself for a while.
'I don't want to do the same thing over and over'
What like auditing.
I never would have guessed Beck was a scientolgist.

@@urwholefamilydied He left scientology

Beck! The likeable ''Fuck The World Ability'' Frank Sinatra was attempting to achieve.
The information was too long and Modern Guilt was too short.. Beck is still a badass regardless..
I recall he was in a ton of pain during the recording of modern guilt. Love both albums
Before COVID. Interviewer is all up in his face.
If David Spade was a musician
Dawud Charlton he wishes
EatAtTheDanglingDiner I instantly thought the same thing. Spade could only dream to be Beck
michael cera with long hair

has anyone got him to really talk about scientology???

4:13 "unfair incentive" :)

how high is he ??
What did you fail on in this record?! Really George?
who the hell is this guy
There are two guys there. Who the hell are you talking about?
Who in the hell are you! (Three amigos )
