🙏🏾🐈💔 for you & your kitty. I am doing the same right now with our beloved cat, Georgia, whose big heart is finally giving out. She is purring in tandem with Ripcord. Many thanks to him & his thoughtful human companion.
Playing this for a sick kitten I found in a parking lot and he FINALLY started suckling. Thank you so much. We still don't know if he will make it but at least right now he is calm and warm and his belly is full. Thank you. ❤
Is his belly bloated? If so, is it air-bloated or food-bloated, is he in a soft bedding that could comfort him? Maybe try a breathing(?) pillow to give a sense of a mother
I played this and within 45 seconds my cat was almost asleep. He’s been laying next to me just looking at me for a while so I turned this on, gave him some slow blinks and I pet his forehead as he closed his eyes and I think he loves this video.
Oh yay! You speak cat! You know about the slow blink thing. Your actualy the first person I've heard actually mention it but, it's a real thing. The purring did help alot too 😜
I'm happy someone else actually understands the slow blink for cats, I have a cat, zappy his name is. My family got them from my elder cat lilly who gave birth to zappy and his brothers. Zappy had a strange connection to me ever since his birth he's nearly a year old same as his brothers and an hour ago he cuddled up on my chest as always and I played this he fell asleep after about 5 mins

Last night I rescued a kitten on the side of the road with a broken leg and severe wounds on her back. Just took her to the vet, just started drinking kitten milk and water. I only had 2 hours of sleep last night and today was a job interview. Came back from the vet, fed, and it's sleeping on the bottom shelf of my bookshelf behind the sofa where it's dark, on some old Tshirt.
When I play this my two boys instantly stop with their zoomies and lay down to relax. They lay down next to me on the couch one on each side and fall asleep. They’re the cutest little boys. I’m so happy my fiancée and I rescued them a month ago.
this is really random but thank you a lot! i'm currently living with my grandparents because of child services so I don't have my cat right now (in my old house). she would always come and sit at the end of my bed and purred till I fell asleep. thank you so much

Hi, Tiffany- Rose! Say, I know you wrote this comment a while ago. I just adopted a younger (not kitten) feral cat last week! She’s been hiding underneath my couch and is a little scared :( she comes out at night when I goto sleep to eat and go potty etc. I’m thinking about putting this on for her while she rests during the daytime. @@BeaconofHope01 I have a million but I'll start with a few important ones. For ferals it's good to keep them somewhere that they can't hide. Give them a little box, pet house or cat tree to hide in but it's much easier to socialize them when they can't hide somewhere you can't reach them. A small room like a laundry room or bathroom to start or bedroom as long as they can't get under the bed or in the closet. Lots of toys and treats. Let them come to you, I have found toys that have a wand or something that keeps a bit of distance between you works great for gaining trust. As they get more comfortable you can start introducing your hand more. Always end your socializing sessions on a good note. Keep it positive, fun and remember this process can take time. I’m raising an orphan named Agnes the Magnificent with the Incredible Cactus Hands (Agnes for short) and I play this after she eats, as I groom her with a cloth. It really keeps her calm and happy and I think it’s good for her mental health since she doesn’t have a mom or siblings. Thank you so much to your kitty and you for posting this. 💕
I have a 14 1/2 year old orange tabby named Mocha. He lost his litter mate and best friend, Carmel about 2 months ago. Mocha has IBD just like Carmel did so every day is hit and miss as far as how he feels. He had such a good day today, but tonight the nausea was setting in and perhaps missing his brother too. He began crying out. I already gave him his meds and he had food so I tried putting this on my phone and gave him his Garfield with cat nip. He has calmed right down! Thank you for this recording!❤
Had 2 kittens visiting this past weekend and I was trying everything to get them to sleep at night... guess what this worked for them and my daughter and I. Pretty funny seeing everyone asleep to purring! Cats rule!!!
This is the day after I lost my beautiful side-by-side companion cat of 14 years. I have felt so lost and anxious until I put this on and the calm it is brining is incredible. Thank you! ❤💔
I know nobody is reading this. It’s more of a note to myself. Thank you so much First night tonight without my precious kitty and I can’t sleep, it’s 4am. Goodnight RUclips. Night three. 5:28 am and I’m still awake so trying this again. Tonight marks one week. 11:50 pm, tired as shit. Been coping but it still hurts. Two weeks without her now, 2:56am, I’m gonna try to sleep now. Anyways it’s obvious nobody is seeing this comment, it’s just for me to keep track of whatever. Revisiting this again. It’s been 24 days but it feels like I haven’t seen her in forever. It’s 2:40 am and I can’t sleep. I actually haven’t visited this in a long time now. Last I watched this was April 27th, today is July 2nd. Is that a good thing? We got a new kitten recently, he sleeps with me from time to time and I cry every single time. Anyways it’s 3:34am, I’ve gotta try to sleep but tonight I’m really struggling.
My heart brwks for you💔 Remember your baby😻 I'm sure they would want you to be happy and give love to another baby😻 Maybe they sent the new baby your way to help heal😻💕
Are you feeling any better? It’s so surprisingly devastating to lose a beloved cat! Mine died a year ago and my heart still hurts. He purred just like this. I hope you’re feeling better and enjoying the new kitty.
10/10 tilly liked it he is very grumpy so usually he does not like pets or cuddles but he sat in my lap with this on and let me scritch him and i let him rest his head in my hand when he got sleepy
That’s not odd at all. Little babies are little babies, and a comforting sound is always welcome, especially when becoming accustomed to a new environment. How sweet that was for you to have done that. Smart thinking!
I rescued a kitten that fell down a crack between buildings (I am on the 1st floor). It took me ropes, hand made ladders, but it woudn't climb up so finally I had to go down (every muscle hurts now) with a small ladder and take him up. In my apartment he snuck under a cupboard. Had to put food /water warm sheet to lie on under the cupboard for a few days. He's a piebald cat, not very friendly. and I put music for cats and your video on, to destress him. and he came out and gave me my first headbutt. The other cats sleep around the laptop when the purring is on :) Thank you., thank you. 🥰🥰🥰
Wonderful. Two of my old boys went to cat heaven within two weeks of each other and my heart is broken. I only have Snowy now. Listening to this video has really helped. Thank you so much for sharing. 🙋🙋🙋🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
When I read this it made me cry so hard 😿😿 I'm very sorry for your loss I had a cat who also went to cat heaven in 2021 I couldn't stop crying after it happened but we can't change what has happened in the past we can only change the future but I hope your happy now 👍
This helped me soo much in the past few years. I always had trouble studying and tried a lot of white noise videos, but none of them helped. I love cats especially their purring so I listened to some purring sound vids and this is the only one, that managed to help me concentrate (making everyone around me go crazy listening to this 24/7 xD)
This is so awesome! Thank you and you're beautiful kitty, Ripcord!💜 My boy purrs, but quietly. I can only tell when he lays on me, and I feel the rumbling. ✌️😸🍀
Oh my kittiness that's adorable and I'm in love with kitty love 😻...I'm getting sleepy now I just subscribed...I'll be honest last night 🌙 🤪 I tried to listen to rain 🌧 falling to sleep 💤...it kept me awake but listening to kitty love 😻 purring motor is my best 💓 💖 💗 💕 ♥ sleep video oh I love kitty cats 🐈. Good night meow meows.
What a wonderful sleep sound! I’ll try this one with my little ‘over the hill’ gal (same age as myself). Last year in March, a little kitty came knocking on my door - quite literally. It sounded like the way I’d taught my girl to get my attention so I got up and looked. I flipped on the light and there on the other side of the patio behind my rosemary was a little cat. Of course I fed and watered the little one, and didn’t see anything of it until several nights later. It was the same for a while so I began calling it ‘Traveler Comes at Night.’ I thought it was a stray who maybe got fed here and there so, didn’t think much of not seeing it every night - though I anxiously awaited for the little one to return every night, and was logging visits by calendar and journal. Finally it started staying regularly. I couldn’t pet it but it wanted the food and water every day so needless to say my Chewy autoship orders began to be a bit bigger. Long story short, I finally got to pet it - after two months, and I found out it was a little Tom. My little guy’s been here almost a full year now. He’s got a nice little weatherproof house which I also insulated, laid in fresh straw and some flannel and fleece blankets and made an awning from a shower curtain to knock out the wind and rain, so he’s pootin’ through silk. He’s renamed, and he’s just been pure joy, a precious little bundle of always happy sunshine. The only problem we have, really, is that my little indoor gal absolutely hates the fact that he’s on the patio at HER house, and that he’s been inside and worse - I smell like him sometimes, so I get that “you’ve been cheating on me” glare, complete with stinky hisses and claws. Oh yeah, she’s ticked. I have to barricade the hall so she has the back of the house and all those window beds, food and water, and of course her ‘toilette.’ After he’s been in to eat and the barricade is down, she sniffs every square inch up here, and I get ‘that look.’ She’s always been territorial and jealous, and now I know for sure that’s not changed in almost fifteen years now. So, I’m going to put Ripcord’s vocals on when we go to bed (yeah, she lets me sleep in the “big bed” with her) and see how she takes to just another cat’s purring. No cat pictures or scents, just a calming, happy purr. I don’t know but I seriously doubt that she’ll ever allow the little guy in the same room with her, much less learn to have a friend who, like her, is covered in fur. She’s a bigger cat and the way she acts I’m afraid she’d go into full attack mode, so ‘we two’ may never be ‘we three’ in our house, though the count is definitely three. The little guy loves the outdoors and had rather be in his nice little house to sleep. It’s really warm in there and I have kept a check on that, so even when the temps dipped into single digits I was assured he was as warm in there as we were inside. Extra blankets inside didn’t hurt. This may be the saving grace. My girl is anything but friendly while the little guy just wants to be friends with the cat he never sees. He’s the polar opposite of her as far as personalities. They all have their own unique traits. I’m catering to two different ones. And aren’t I the lucky one! Since he is out there by himself, I thought of this: if Ripcord’s purring could be on a little speaker to go in outdoor cat houses, how really fantastic would that be? Just a little soft sound of purring for three - four hours. Or motion activated, possibly. It’s something to think about and I know I can’t be alone in thinking this would be the best thing since weatherproof outdoor cat houses (with ten year warranties). I know I’d buy one. It would be great in a vet’s for the overnighters. This and a flannel or fleece blanket with the “I’ll be here tomorrow to take you home” would be all they’d need. It’s something to think about. Thank you Ripcord and Ripcord’s ‘dad.’ Because……………cats.
You have a big heart. I hope you've neutered little Tom as he could be fathering the whole neighborhood. BTW blankets in the outdoor housing are not advised as they make it colder if even slightly wet, but the straw piled in will do the job of keeping him warm. You take such good care of both your companions.
I’m so happy that I found this!!!! This is what puts me to sleep ❤ without all of the added background noises. And with my 2 grand babies with me, they purr and kneed with this video too! I love it! Ty
My cat always lays above my head at night and purrs untill I fall asleep, I don't know what to do when she is gone. Thankfully she is only two but still. When I'm in a cabin or something I always have to use these thank you.
Thank you, this is helping my anxious rescue cat relax while we are in the middle of a move - all the activity of packing has frightened her and this sound has had a very calming effect on her.😽❤
Oh my god! This audio is 100 percent worth it, my kitten and me have bonded alot using this. She even started purring with it. Awwwww, i love my baby :).
Thank you so much for sharing Ripcord's soundtrack with us. I have been playing it with very positive results ❤ In less than 12 hours, a very wary cat has begun to venture out from under the lounge and engage with slow blink eye contact possibly 5 times as much as prior.
Play this for my boy when he is stressed😊. Sometimes its from cleaning/moving furniture or scents.. other times its from redirect aggression from seeing or smelling another cat outside. I always make sure both litter boxes are clean when he cries, fresh water, clean his food dish.. see if he wants pets/scritches, play time(favorites are the laser and the shoe lace). Weather permitting he gets closely supervised outdoor time… still working on the harness. He loves to chase the lizards, sometimes he gets a bit ambitious and thinks opossums or red-tailed hawks are suitable targets.. he’s a big strong boy but I get him despite his naughty objections. He also loves saying hi to everyone outside, including most dogs (I closely watch those interactions and ask the dog owner if dogs are calm and friendly.. He generally has a good instinct on which dogs might be dangerous or overly energetic. My favorite was when he gave a malmute kisses and nuzzles and the owner told me they had just lost their kitty who the dog loved and was mourning, she said it completely brightened both of their days). If all those things dont work and he’s still crying or occasionally getting aggressive I put this on and it always helps. Obviously I know that if he continues whining/aggression and/or eating/drinking/potty/energy changes then it is vet time. He was fostered until 18 months and his foster mom was also fostering kittens when he was around 1 and she said he absolutely loved them both as playmates and as cuddle buddies.. he groomed them too(he does it to me too). He is probably the most social domestic cat I have seen irl and on social media. Even Lions might not be as social as him. I cannot take care of a dog atm and he gets lonely when I am gone.. so debating getting him about a 14-20 week old baby kitten brother
THANK YOU…. we loved it! I I zonked out for a solid four hours and my kitty slept too after figuring out there was no real kitty for him to play with … his rhythm is perfect for “white noise” ..✌🏻💤💤💤
Sounds like my 20 yr old kitty I'm not sure how much more time I have left with. Your story of you and Ripcord finding each other after skydiving is truly heartwarming ❤🐾
This helped me get dreaded thoughts away I wanted to hear because I love hearing cats purr when I did it I heard my cat jump on my bed then come towards me and lay down right next to me and started purring. When I did it I started getting sleepy too thanks so much for this I'm gonna listen to this for awhile now. It also makes me consintrat ( I can't TvT ) more. It's so relaxing. Since 2021 my father's cat had passed away and I'm still thinking of it it makes me cry but this helps me get past it. Thank you. :)
I'm not sure if this is better than regular wind or rain noise recordings, but it did make me feel happy when I woke up. Reminded me of being greeted by my cat in the morning.

It really keeps her calm and happy and I think it’s good for her mental health since she doesn’t have a mom or siblings. Thank you so much to your kitty and you for posting this. 💕
May cat relax fenlyou❤❤❤
My cat absolutely loves this, she’s been very stressed recently but I started playing this and she’s struggling to stay awake
My kitty is terrified of thunder and this helped him fall asleep on my chest in the middle of a thunderstorm. Thank you.
This beauty looks and sounds like my precious Tabu! May she rest in piece. Life has never been the same without her.
Your right❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My cat got lost two days ago, and this video helped me feeling happy and relaxed while imagining me next to my cat, thank you a lot
I hope you find your furbaby :(
Btw, lost as in, he left and never came back?
One time I looked after my friends cat and dog and the cat would purr near my head and it was the most relaxing thing I heard tbh
Purrr... Purrrr... Purrr.... Purrrrfect.... zzzzz..... Good night.... 💝
This saved me from a panic attack. :)
just listened to it for that exact reason :)) glad you have a good coping skill friend
Hope you don't get another
Me to
This is the day after I lost my beautiful side-by-side companion cat of 14 years. I have felt so lost and anxious until I put this on and the calm it is brining is incredible. Thank you! ❤💔
💕💔😻💕
Sweet Ripcord helping entire community to sleep well and relax! What a service! Bravo!
I know nobody is reading this. It’s more of a note to myself.
Thank you so much
First night tonight without my precious kitty and I can’t sleep, it’s 4am.
I see it!!!!!!!!!! 💕😔💙
My heart brwks for you💔 Remember your baby😻 I'm sure they would want you to be happy and give love to another baby😻 Maybe they sent the new baby your way to help heal😻💕
Awww!!! That is sad to hear but happy that you got a new kitty... God bless!
Are you feeling any better? It’s so surprisingly devastating to lose a beloved cat! Mine died a year ago and my heart still hurts. He purred just like this. I hope you’re feeling better and enjoying the new kitty.
@@greenbrain8725 Thank you. I still miss her and everything reminds me of her, but it's getting easier.
10/10 tilly liked it he is very grumpy so usually he does not like pets or cuddles but he sat in my lap with this on and let me scritch him and i let him rest his head in my hand when he got sleepy
This may sound odd but I have a puppy that suffers from anxiety and the minute I put this on she relaxes and just goes to sleep lol.
That’s not odd at all. Little babies are little babies, and a comforting sound is always welcome, especially when becoming accustomed to a new environment. How sweet that was for you to have done that. Smart thinking!
I just want to say thank you for uploading this. You are right, Ripcord had an amazing, comforting purr. You are so kind to share this with others.
You're very welcome! We miss him.
I just found this before going to bed. I can't believe how well 8 I slept. I'm a cat person and they calm me. Wish I could have one.
This is amazing!!! Great quality and can hear the purring nice and loud 🥰 thankyou!!
Bless you for being so caring. I had a cat that hid under my bed for about a year. Eventually she came out...hang in there.
😅😅😅😅
This made me fall asleep in 18 seconds last night
A very good purr. Full of contentment, love, and personality. R.I.P sweet Norbert. R.I.P. sweet Norman
Wonderful. Two of my old boys went to cat heaven within two weeks of each other and my heart is broken. I only have Snowy now. Listening to this video has really helped. Thank you so much for sharing. 🙋🙋🙋🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
So sorry for your loss.
Thank you and you're beautiful kitty, Ripcord!💜
My boy purrs, but quietly. I can only tell when he lays on me, and I feel the rumbling. ✌️😸🍀
I'm playing this for my cats on a boom box ..they put along too. Thank you for your video..
Thanks
I use this every night!my cats loves it and so do i❤
❤
Yeah I am amazed too ❤ with love from India
My cat literally loved this sound the SECOND I turned it on his head and neck is on the phone and is cuddling it😁
My cat when i putted this on she started immediately sleeping thank u so much for this vid
This made my 7 year old already affectionate cat so ungodly needy and I gotta say, I'm loving it
Oh my kittiness that's adorable and I'm in love with kitty love 😻...I'm getting sleepy now I just subscribed...I'll be honest last night 🌙 🤪 I tried to listen to rain 🌧 falling to sleep 💤...it kept me awake but listening to kitty love 😻 purring motor is my best 💓 💖 💗 💕 ♥ sleep video oh I love kitty cats 🐈.
Thank you Ripcord and Ripcord’s ‘dad.’
Because……………cats.
I love it! Ty
This helps, my cat is very distressed because she was in the air in system for days and forgot everything, and she’s calming down, thank you❤❤
My cat always lays above my head at night and purrs untill I fall asleep, I don't know what to do when she is gone. Thankfully she is only two but still. When I'm in a cabin or something I always have to use these thank you.
Thank you, this is helping my anxious rescue cat relax while we are in the middle of a move - all the activity of packing has frightened her and this sound has had a very calming effect on her.😽❤
aww , so cute! cats are so sweet
At the vet with my very grumpy and unhappy black kitty, playing this for her seems to be calming her down a bit❤
I Love this!
This is Perfect for Study, Sleep & Relaxation!
Glad you like it!
Breaking out the purring magic again. I want to sleep in so all my kitties need to chill with the zoomed this morning lol
This helped with my migraine quite a lot. ❤
I love that the sound is just vibrating through my headphones and into my ears. It feels so nice 😌
So adorable 🥰
Thx My cat turns on this by herself 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 👍 nice I love it thxx
the sound is so relaxing i will listen to it every day from now on thank you😻
Oh my god! This audio is 100 percent worth it, my kitten and me have bonded alot using this. She even started purring with it. Awwwww, i love my baby :).
This helps my child fall asleep 😅thank you !
My new kitten refused to sleep so I put this on and now he’s the sleepiest cuddling thing EVER. Thank you ☺️
Omg this is brilliant...my old boy purring away cleaning his paws, lovely thank you so very much
THANK YOU…. we loved it! I I zonked out for a solid four hours and my kitty slept too after figuring out there was no real kitty for him to play with … his rhythm is perfect for “white noise” ..✌🏻💤💤💤
My cat is so much calmer today. She is a fairly anxious, hyperalert 6yo cat, always has been. This is really calming for her. Thank you!
Just got 2 feral kittens, and hopefully, this helps them relax a bit
This is the best purring video I’ve found! Thanks.
Sounds like my 20 yr old kitty I'm not sure how much more time I have left with. Your story of you and Ripcord finding each other after skydiving is truly heartwarming ❤🐾
This made me relax enough to sleep and I have trouble falling asleep.
Great way to do my facial ritual at night while this lovely cat purrsss with me. Aweee. 🤍🐈
Would recommend 10/10. My injured cat is in cage rest and was really fiesty. Playing this and he's sleeping calmly
Thank you. :)
Thanks, i lost my beloved cat and this purring sounds like her purring
THIS is what I was looking for! I´ll be trying it tonight. If I can stop playing it before that... :)
Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU FOR THIS GIFT❤!!! Cant have a fur baby. Miss the sound & feel of sweet kitty.
omg I slept like a baby using this sound to sleep..love it !!
Wonderful sound. This is my favorite purring video. If only RUclips wouldn't run ads at 3:30 am.
Thank you. ❤
Thianks ill have to try this will my new kitten 🐾
i use this when me and my mia cuddle so she knows i’m happy lol
I'm not sure if this is better than regular wind or rain noise recordings, but it did make me feel happy when I woke up. Reminded me of being greeted by my cat in the morning.
This helps me sleep at night thank you
Played this and my sister's cat calmed down and made biscuits on a blanket.
Excellent for falling asleep to! I have tinnitus and this is most helpful. My 🐈 sleeps by my side, so I have him to cuddle as I listen to this .
Such a BEAUTIFUL CAT!!
awwwwww thank you so much Ripcord & Human💖 wonderful
I'm using this because science says it might help my broken leg. Really. My cat seems to enjoy it 😊
