Man Jude Fun Cubs are awesome. I owned about 4 of the original ones and built at least 4 more for other people. Capable in the right hands for sure. It's nice they came out with a V2, they just need to figure a way to sell it for about half of what they are asking. Great flying buddy! Nice filming by Em!

Thank you Adam! There is a guy I California that sells them a little cheaper than getting one from overseas. The company is called Mr.Mpx. last I checked he was out of stock but that was weeks ago. I think he still wants $450 for one. Check it out maybe they went down in price.

Nice, capable sturdy plane. We got the ailerons working, but haven’t got the flaps right yet. Well done Jude. Keep an eye (or Emily’s) out for that gator! 👍🏻🙂. Definitely some unusual landing techniques!

It sure is Randy! The flaps are a bit tricky because of how they are installed. Normally there is a reverse servo for one of the flaps so that they can be symmetrically installed. Other times the servos are installed a symmetrically to avoid the use of a reverse servo.
The flap servos in the funcub are installed symmetrically but neither is a reverse servos so when using a y harness they will move in opposite directions. To remedy this situation, each flap servo must be plugged into there own channel. This way you can reverse one of the servos through your transmitter. When setting up the flaps in the transmitter you will have to set each one individually. Also they will read as opposite % values in your transmitter because, you have to switch one servos direction.
I know it's a bit confusing but i hope this helps get your flaps setup 😉 👍

@@JustEnoughRC thanks again, Jude. I will try these ideas the next time Dom and I get together. I’m sure it will eventually work. It’s just a matter of getting the right combination. I’ll keep you informed, and possibly a maiden video. The weather is lousy here today. Rain and mist, but better forecast ahead. 🤞🏻

Looks like a great bush plane, just beeds smaller bushes around it😅
I heard it's very light for its size, might need to get one.

It's extremely lightweight slowest flying cub I've flown yet! Those bushes didn't even put a scratch in the leading edge of the wing. The foam is super dense and strong I definitely recommend getting one
