It literally seems like 100s of specials in the last few months and I haven't found more than 5 that are funny and some of those it seemed like could have been better or needed some more time to sharpen up. I'm just a fan so my opinion is obviously not important but it is making me weary of youtube specials. If they are good though I will pay for it.

The US saw Japan's ambitions towards taking control of the Philippines and malaysia in cahoots with the nazis as a serious threat so they cut off the supplies we had previously been providing for them. Because of that is why the japanese planned the attack. It wasnt so much an attack on the US as it was as a side effect of their goal to take control of the pacific colonies. The US never had any documented intention of attacking Japan. I dont know where you pulled that idea from
