Batman (with the Green Goblin in tow) attempts to search for the Joker, but is hesitant to allow Spider-Man to join him. (Marvel/DC Parody) Visit / itsjustsomerandomguy for more!
Awesome Inspector Hey, at the time I was really pissed off at the movie. But now after looking back at it, I would say that MoS wasn't all that angsty as I thought it was.
Man of Steel, while not a masterpiece, was not as bad as people thought. People complain about how it is not "lighthearted" and "Silver Age", but the Silver Age has been over for a long time.
"What rolls down stairs, alone or in pairs? Runs over your neighbors dog whats great for a snack, it fits on your back? Its Log Log LOG!! Its LOG, Log, Its big, its heavy, its wood, its LOG, LOG, Its Better than bad ITS GOOD!!" Ren and Stimpy Reference!!!
"I'll be an old man with no wife, no children, and no family..." Okay, wife I'll give him. But Bats definitely has a family (Dick, Tim, Barbara, and the Comissioner). And as of now, he DEFINITELY has a child. Batman, you are not alone.
I know he did it to avoid copyright strikes for the original song he used, but I think the replacement music used now really ruins the acid trip Gobby has
The thing I like best is the way you humanize them and stay in character with how they would act if they were actually in these situations. You have a great grasp for them! Keep it up!
I know Gobby was imagining this fight, but it is a clever way to stop Superman. Make him punch Green Lantern then use his ring to synthesize kryptonite. Why hasn't Lex thought of that?
The ring is powered by the will of it's user. And that's been proven to be faulty because a villain like Sinestro was able to keep his ring prior to finding the Sinestro Corps, because despite his evil intentions he still had a strong will. Anyone with a stronger will than it's user, the ring will gravitate towards and since Lex was strong willed enough to defy death, he is perfectly capable of stealing that ring or any ring in Oa if he wanted.
Also, according to canon, it takes a sheer pile of TFM units of willpower to use the ring successfully. Oliver Queen in the comics once tried to use the current GL's ring during Blackest Night and he could only form one arrow before blacking out. He said there was just too much of a drain, mentally and physically to use it.
@@LordNumbnutsthe1st Would it be over in 6 seconds, I don't know. One thing I always liked about villains in comics, is that even if they had something that would permanently end a hero, they'd often draw it out as much as they can. Sounds cliche and stupid I know, but it makes sense because deep down they often can't believe how easy they got their foe and would prefer to savour the moment. Green Goblin for example was inches from dropping Spider-man in a vat of acid in a kid friendly cartoon no-less. Yet didn't just immediately drop him because he wanted to savour it. In the case of Lex, he's smart enough to know how the ring works, he has a strong enough willpower to defy death and believe me that is enough will to qualify. So naturally nothing could stop him from getting a ring of his own or stealing one from a fallen Lantern. However he is also very petty. Even if his common sense tells him to just "Kill Superman and get it over with." He fought Superman for so long that he's itching to hurt him first. In this case, he'd purposefully use low dose Kryptonite radiation to not kill him quickly, but also enough of a dose to make him suffer. Or he'd use it to mimic Red Sun rays, so that he would make him powerless enough to want to give him an old fashioned beating. But most importantly he'd prolong it for days before he finally puts him down.
Fantastic. Green Goblin is even funnier when he's drugged. "You just blew my mind" "NORM!" His best line: "I don't think people with antlers should criticize". I loved the Dark Knight refernce as well as the use of the theme from Batman The Animated Series.
It's amazing how you can do both comical and serious stories. Amazing laughter at the end. Green Goblin beating all the heroes was awesome... a few seconds before it was revealed, I knew it was all an hallucination. And I don't really think that Lex is planning to remain a second banana... You've got a Poison Ivy figure! Awesome! Try to use it more frequently!
You guys are amazing at writing this stuff. Honestly I wish this was on TV, a full 25 minutes of it. This is truly funny and true to all the characters except Green Goblin. ALthough I LOVE Green Goblin in this. This show made my day. Thank you :))))))
"It's Log!" The 'theme-song' for Log, which is run during The Ren & Stimpy Show. Or, after he gets a new dose, he's singing "Summertime." Gershwin. Good song.
"You guys are bumming me out so much I don't know if I can evrr go back to being happy again- *shot* "SUMMMERRR TIMMEEEEE!!! And the living is EASSYYYYY." Love that part.
This has got to be THE most entertaining skit I've seen about comics or pop culture in a LONG time. You DEFINITELY know how to play off the serious aspects of the comics/movies but make it all ludicrous from the word "Go." If MST3K had been this funny I would have kept on watching. Can't wait to see season 3. Rock on! Oh, and whatever Goblin was high on, give me a prescription! That was CLASSIC!
dude, your Joker-laughter is absolutely fantastic!!! And that "They heard me laughing, didn't they?" "Yes, sir" "I need to work on that..." Brilliant^^
green goblin is so freakin hilarious in this show XD my favorite quote is when hes flying in the air at 5:59 and says "this iiis aawwesome!" keep up the good work randomguy
Green Goblin/Harley Quinn is the best supervillain couple I've seen yet. I've always thought Joker didn't deserve her. Also, I loved the Big Lebowski and Sublime references. Had me and my roommate doubled over laughing! "Yeah.. Well you know, the goblin abides..." ROFL!
My friend, in that 40-something second speech you wrote for Batman, you managed to sum up the character, the motivation and the ulitimate tragedy that is the Batman. It's great to see someone who truly understands the characters he is playing and writing about. Well done, my hat off to you!
This was freaking awesome. Dude... Honestly, this was freaking awesome. I'm completely - I don't even know. This is just too awesome. It's too bad this can't be picked up by the studios. Can you IMAGINE the things you could do?
I love all these videos, but now especially with the THEME MUSIC PIECES FOR THE HEROES! It's one thing to just have Batman come in and kick ass...but with the THEME going, it's almost like everyone's crossover dreams have come true!
Wow...LOL This is off the chain!!! U really got the Joker going Hard in this one and I bet the original writers would have never had Joker scheming like this!!!!
OMG I love this. Much better than your previous works. I love what you did to Gobby (the halusinations lol) "Dude you have got to get me a perscription for this stuff"
This particular episode has to be your best in general. Like ClassicToonFan says, you manage to do a great job of combining serious elements and satire. Bats and Spidey would make the best team in superhero comics and you created some great dialog for them. All the Big Lebowski references are really funny and well done also and so is the Police Academy one. Gobby photographing himself on the floor with Wonder Woman is hysterical XD
I love hearing the Green Goblin sing the jingle for Log! "What rolls down stairs, alone of in pairs, rolls over your neighbor's dog? What's great for a snack and fits on your back, it's log, log, LOG! It's Log, it's Log, it's big, it's heavy, it's wood!"
7:29 is such an awesome fight scene! Just for the fact that we get to see Batman and Spidey tag-team, which almost never happens in the comics. It's also so well done.
What happened to the soundtrack? I'm very familiar with these videos and I can guarantee that Goblins first drug trip had See What Condition My Condition Was In.
The 'Naked Gun' parody was the best. Especially where Gobby knocks Wonder Woman out and takes pictures of himself on the floor with her. Too bad that doll's clothes aren't removable X P
The stuff with Green Goblin is going to haunt my mind for years to come, not that I mind, this is the funniest stuff I've watched in years. I will be honest, I watched this years ago and completely forgot about it until just now. XD
11 years later and Goblin’s humor still holds up. Very well done.

"Summertime and the livin' is easy!" The Green Goblin tripping is hilarious!

Awesome Inspector
Hey, at the time I was really pissed off at the movie. But now after looking back at it, I would say that MoS wasn't all that angsty as I thought it was.
+3DSDF It's cool.
Man of Steel, while not a masterpiece, was not as bad as people thought. People complain about how it is not "lighthearted" and "Silver Age", but the Silver Age has been over for a long time.
they say the silver age ended when green goblin threw Gwen Stacy off that bridge.
"When I'm done with you you'll be begging for mercy" "Lady of that's what your into I am so down with that"
Coming back and watching this after years. Completely forgot about "Is that my soul!?" Had me laughing hysterically

i loved the part when Batman comes to the rescue . brought me to tears, especially the classic music by Danny Elfman :' ) .

Okay, wife I'll give him. But Bats definitely has a family (Dick, Tim, Barbara, and the Comissioner). And as of now, he DEFINITELY has a child. Batman, you are not alone.
After watching the Big Lebowski, I came back here and noticed all the references.
Same!
I know he did it to avoid copyright strikes for the original song he used, but I think the replacement music used now really ruins the acid trip Gobby has
"And to what do I owe the pleasure of your company?"

"My WHAT?"
When was the music changed for Goblins trip?
Looks like you guys predicted the DC Cinematic Universe
+evilsupernintendo84 Not really.
They stopped being Cynical after Justice League.
"after" justice league? no dc movie hasn't come out yet after that, so how would you know that
Because the next movies are gonna be Flash and Aquaman. The former being one of the most lighthearted superheroes in the world.
The thing I like best is the way you humanize them and stay in character with how they would act if they were actually in these situations.
You have a great grasp for them! Keep it up!
Dam you copyright law the high scene just doesn't work now
I agree wtfff
The Goblin abides.
I know Gobby was imagining this fight, but it is a clever way to stop Superman. Make him punch Green Lantern then use his ring to synthesize kryptonite. Why hasn't Lex thought of that?
Shanethefilmmaker because no one can steal the ring in the comics. And even if they could it takes alot of willpower and concentration.
'Cause the show/movie would have been over in about 6 seconds beyond that plot point. Might have been interesting to see the set up, though.
Also, according to canon, it takes a sheer pile of TFM units of willpower to use the ring successfully. Oliver Queen in the comics once tried to use the current GL's ring during Blackest Night and he could only form one arrow before blacking out.
