@@sawyermurdock6521 the c#m7b5 chord means C# minor 7, flat 5th (sometimes called the half diminished chord) it has a minor 7th note and has a flattened 5th note (a perfect fifth for C# would be Ab but a flat 5th for C# is G) so when you transition to the C major 7 you just have to move the root note one half step and has a really pretty chromatic movement. Hope this explanation helps.
