Exciting times!! We used express removals too!! We got a little emotional seeing our house empty, but onwards and upwards to better things. We said the same when we moved, felt like we were going on holiday rather than moving house. Now we’ve been here for a few days we feel 100% happy with our choice and feel like we’re home. This house will become our family home and being closer to family means the world to us now. Can’t wait to see the next few house vlogs and would love to know your ideas / Plans for the house. What you’re first project will be. X

I highly recommend getting a door from the garage into the house if possible so you can just get out of the car and straight into the house without going outside🙌 such a lovely house with so much potential! X

I can't wait to see the renovations and what you do with the place. I love the fact you have rooms on the left and right as you walk in. A lot of new houses don't have that layout which is such a shame. I just hate houses that you walk into and it's just a wall and the stairs on one side and then all rooms on the right. I don't know why but I just prefer a more open plan and knowing I can go left or right when I walk in the door 😂😂. It's the little things. Hopefully more videos to come of renovations , painting and of course DIY with your Dad as well Kate.

The only suggestion I would make is to perhaps change and enlarge the light fixture in the stairway. I am curious to know what you will do to make the utility room more astetically pleasing to the eye. Overall, your new home is beautiful! Congratulations!
Thanks Pamela! Yes the hallway definitely needs work to make it brighter. We’re hoping to get a light well installed to create natural light and a bigger and better light as you say. I think that will make a lot of difference. I can’t wait to do the utility room too! Xx
