I understand the frustration of the buyers who bought the Pepsi in white gold, but I can't get mad at Rolex for lowering the retail price in steel. My frustration with Rolex is the distribution of the color dial Oyster Perpetual models. The OPs are supposed to be entry level yet they are hard too get at the AD. Consequently, they are very available on the grey market for 2-3 times retail. Very frustrating experience for a first time Rolex buyer.
I love your friendly, conversational style videos, they are a pleasure to watch. I am a big Rolex fan, I own 2 and plan to acquire more. I am on excellent terms with my AD and she is trying to get me a Pepsi/jubilee this year. I am not a fan of the Sprite (you call it the Riddler).
I’ve been patiently waiting for the white gold Pepsi from two of my local AD’s for over two years now. Was recently offered the rose gold but reluctantly turned it down. When you’re spending that kind of money, you can’t settle.
I never liked the Pepsi, the red white and blue looks too cheesy and what time of day does red represent? I like the batman, black and blue day and night plus a bit more subtle. Love your content
The original white Gold Pepsi 116719BLRO was introduced at Baselworld 2014 with a black dial and contained the same 3186 GMT movement that the new 6-Digit reference Ceramic introductory Baselworld 2005 yellow Gold 50th Anniversary 2 models had (black dial/ green date wheel figures/ green 24Hr GMT hand/ Green ‘GMT-Master II’ dial text. Or green dial/ yellow Gold 24Hr GMT hand/ black date wheel figures and I think Gold dial text for ‘GMT-Master II’). Both Baselworld 2005 models had the reference 116718LN. The two yellow Gold 2005 models introduced ‘Easylink’ +|- 5mm tool free clasp Oyster bracelet adjustment; Parachrom Blue balance spring and Paraflex shock absorbsion system, as well as the same ‘Maxi-dial with larger hands and indexes that the 2003 Kermit 5-Digit Non-ceramic 16610LV 50th Anniversary Submariner 1953-2003 introduced, but additionally a ceramic bezel and Supercase. The black dial 3186 116719BLRO white Gold Pepsi was discontinued at Baselworld 2018, when the stainless steel Jubilee Pepsi GMT-Master II, with the new Chronergy 3285 movement was introduced. The collectible anomoly selling at £45K to the £28,250 retail was that the white Gold Pepsi continued for 1 year, until Baselworld 2019 with a blue dial and the old 3186 movement. The blue dial omitted the Rolex coronet at 6 on the dial that the new stainless steel Pepsi 126710BLRO had, signifying it contained the new upgraded Chronergy 3285 GMT movement. This collectible anomoly, with the same reference 116719BLRO as the preceding black dial version? that ran from Baselworld 2014, was discontinued at the next Baselworld 2019, when it was given a new 126719BLRO reference and either a Midnight Blue dial or the newly introduced Meteorite dial. Both 126719BLRO models had a ceramic Pepsi bezel and the new 3285 Chronergy GMT movement and their dials had the Rolex coronet at 6 on the dial signifying the presence of the new upgraded 3285 GMT-Movement, that the collectible anomoly from Baselworld 2018 - Baselworld 2019 omitted, as it contained the old 3186 GMT Movement. The Batman GMT-Master II, originally introduced at Baselworld 2013 116710BLNR with the original 2005 3186 GMT movement and Oyster bracelet, was brought back with the new 3285 movement 126710BLNR and Rolex coronet at 6, but only available on a Jubilee (known as ‘Batgirl’) at Baselworld 2019, after the original Baselworld 2013 Batman was discontinued, I think, at Baselworld 2018, when the new stainless steel Pepsi 126710BLRO was introduced. They brought back Oyster bracelets options, on both the stainless steel Pepsi 126710BLRO and stainless steel Batman 126710BLNR last year at Watches and Wonders 2021.
I owned 8 Rolex watches but I think Rolex is a watch company that don’t really give a shit what the potential customers want or expect, they just continue to supply you with watches they think they can sell fast and sell more while they continue with their hunger sale strategy.
Ha! Well you got me there! My mistake. We do these unscripted so occasionally I do get it wrong. I think I was thinking about the Tudor Rootbeer and my mouth was just talking Coke! Great catch, I will be more careful moving forward!

Glad you like them!
You get your Pepsi yet
@@nicholaswang5294 No, but my AD did get me a 124270 Explorer. Still waiting on the Pepsi, hoping to get it this year.
The new Pepsi with that new Oyster band is so sickkkkk.
How is inventory for any Rolex watch these days? Can you buy them at retail? Great video!!
We're still seeing high demand for Rolex sport models, although prices have soften in the pre-owned market over the last couple of months
Great video you two👍
Always very interesting to hear your opinions. Can you give me an idea on where the prices are going with the steel Batman ?
Gotta but these things for your own enjoyment. Most people can barely tell the difference between a red and blue Seiko or Rolex.
Fantastic video! ❤️

Really enjoying these videos. Love the energy and enthusiasm from George when he shares history and details in watches. Thanks for making these. 🍻

Great review man.

First! Haha love you guys!
Thanks Jacob!
Man!!! I would love to get my hands on a Rolex. Especially if George was wearing it.
The Rolex GMT Master ii BLRO (Pepsi) is the king of GMT’s

I say BUY both WHITE GOLD and STEEL. I dig BOTH!!!
Riddler? no, the Green Lantern!
That’s the first I’ve heard of “Green Lantern”, and yes! Great idea! I loved the Green Lantern growing up!
Didn’t Rolex offer the customers of the white gold Pepsi a dial swap from black to blue ?
Correct, also the wg pepsi with black dial dont have the little coronet at 6 marker
Tudor Coke? Huh? What?
Diet Pepsi is more like it. These guys should do their homework.
