The Rondo alla Turca is a very easy piece to play badly. This performer manages to articulate every note precisely. There's one slight rhythmic flub towards the end -- probably inaudible to most listeners. To my ears, this is the best version on RUclips.

What a joy this performance is, I have just sat through Lang Lang butchering the same piece this is as the composer intended, it contains both passion and yet retains an air of the whimsicality one usually associates with the piece.

Likely due to a few things: (1) this guy has a really nice reverb going on which makes a huge difference. (2) his playing is incredibly dynamic (low/high volume). (3) just general mastery of the instrument (clean playing/timing/synchronization between hands). (4) that piano just has a really nice tone. I'm not an expert but that's just the things that stuck out to me
