I used to listen to the song with fondness, thinking of how I would one day be with the one that I loved. now it's just a haunting reminder that they're gone forever 😞😢
I love this song. It was good seeing him twice in Las Cruces, NM AND twice in The Seatte area when I was up there. He's a good friend of mine. Amazing musician, lyricist. The whole nine yards.
I normally don't care for solo acts too much...but James is absolutley amazing...I had the honor of opening up on the Hunnicutt/Orvis/Gallows tour back in January..99 lives has since became one of my favorite albums..Also, James is very approachable and down to earth..He seems to care about his fans, and is not self centered at all..All I can say, is if he comes to your town..don't miss out
Such an amazing guy, can't wait to see him in Bremerton next time! He's really living his dreams and I admire that... and he even took time to wish me a happy birthday last year! That's a great man right there!
This one always chokes James up. It is a very personal song for him. James had a pretty gnarly case of hay fever this evening. Check out my other video of this video, and you will really see him get choked up, as that was at a memorial show for someone our community lost much too early last year. :( Thanks for the kind words...I'll pass them along to James.
@simulatedbass I love James, both as a musician and as a person. Yes, he is a VERY nice guy and very personable. He played at my wedding a few years ago and did so as a gift to us. And definitely agree about seeing him if he comes thru your town.
haven't listened to the song in years. But it will still forever remind me of my shattered heart! 😭

I saw his show last night at the garage, he is truly a captivating performer. And the dynamics of his voice are butter smooth...
