I never even heard of the word “centripetal”. I always wondered how a train was able to stay on its tracks, and this word popped up. I’m 56 years old, and I’m trying to catch up on things 😆. I dropped out of high school, but thankfully I was still able to find a decent job and raise a family. Thank you for explaining centripetal force. I look forward to following you and learning more!
Fugitive is an English word that is used for a person who is running away from the law. CentriFUGAL force tries to pull the string away from the centre - like running away. You have to pull an object towards centre when it is trying to move away to keep it rotating. For eg: Gravity pulls the earth towards the centre.😊
The purpose of centripetal force is a ring moves a ball and the center has less gravity then the ball And you can control the gravity in the center And if the center moves too fast you add another ring and ball and increase the gravity of the outer ring and the center gravity stays constant by making the first ring and ball have more force
This is what I think about? Is it correct. Centrifugal force in circular motion is comparable to the the reaction force in linear motion on the driver when he applies the brakes? The forces applied on the car to stop is the braking forces exerted in the backward direction. The force that throws u in the forward direction after braking is your body’s reaction. Braking force is comparable to the inward pull it tension i the spinning string and if the string loses its strength the cutoff portion would feel the centrifugal force and would be thrown away radially out. If a stone is attached to a spinning string or rope the stone would go tangentially out due to the tangential or instantaneous velocity. Radially Inward acceleration always exists because the velocity is continuously changing. The radially inward leads to radially inward force which is newtons second law of motion. Centrifugal force is the mass of the rock times the inward acceleration. It is a fictitious force. The real force is centripetal force. Where as the centripetal force proportional to square of the velocity and inversely proportional to the radius.
If you apply centripetal forge to a stationary object it would begin to move, because inherently centripetal force causes objects to begin/continue on a trajectory of motion.
I am not sure because I am confused with those two too but I think the centripetal foece makes an object turn until it makes a cicle while the toque force is the force that makes an object spin but doesn t move and angular velpoity and angular momentum is the product of the torgue force
There isn’t a difference, they are just an action-reaction pair. The centripetal effect prevents an object from continuing in a straight line motion and the centrifugal effect is the motion in a straight line, and is often called inertia. Hows that?
One is real, the other is fictitious. The Centrifugal Force is introduced in order for us to be able to use Newton's 2nd (ma=F) in a non-inertial frame of reference, for ex. the one linked to the accelerated/rotating object.
?? a centripetal force is a force that keeps an object moving in a circle. The hair isn't moving in a circle, or even moving at all at times, so I don't think there's a centripetal force acting on it. "helix" and the other words describe the shape of an object not the force acting on it.

Yeah, it's crazy how they feed us all that "centrifugal" bs when it's just inertia then never address the physical elephant in the room.
you are a nice person for real ❤❤keep going ✔✔
Gonna send your kids to school or nah?
@@marcusayala6933what 💀💀💀
@@dragonslayerslayerdragon5077correct it's just inertia of direction
The statement that its not a force in and of itself but cause by other forces was the “ah-hah” moment for me, thank you!
Man, I thought you were the organic chemistry teacher. I’m so glad I’m learning this through you.
Thanks!

He's the best
Ive passed 4 upper level physics and chemistry classes thanks to your videos. Please never stop doing this

thank you for coming through time and time again
OMG YOUR EXPLANATIONS ARE GODLY! great video!
Appreciate you brother, I have a physics exam tomorrow and i think this will come in clutch
It's functions like integral of arcsinh (x) etc
Studying for my physics final, you're a big help with this :)))
Excellent Prof!

I seconded this teaching walai
I can't wait to see more on this platform

YOU ARE A GENIUS
I'm having trouble finding* videos relating to hyperbolic functions for integration.
Do u search specifically for videos? Because otherwise you can use math stack exchange do u have any questions

Can you apply centripetal force to a stationary object? Or then it would just be called regular force or just force?
If you apply centripetal forge to a stationary object it would begin to move, because inherently centripetal force causes objects to begin/continue on a trajectory of motion.

Assalom aleykum.(Good eveniing )Thanks for these useful videos .Actully these are the perfect lessons to learn ,thanks again. Please carryo on your job
Any new GRE videos are coming soon ? Thanks 😊

It is the centripetal Force that changes the direction in circular motion. ⭕️👍

Why wouldn't it be kinetic friction?
One would have kinetic friction if the automobile would sideslip/skid
