Hello, Kate! I’m a fairly new subscriber and have been catching up and loving your videos! I’ve been fascinated with Stonehenge since I was a little girl and even made a model of it in my prehistoric art class in college 😊 I hope to visit Stonehenge someday, hopefully on the summer solstice. 🌝🌞🌕🌖
The small Bluestones came from the Preseli Hills, Pembrokeshire. Approx 150 miles west of the site. Experts aren't 100 percent certain how they were transported there. There was an experiment to see if they could be sailed there using a replica of a period boat. It sank after a few miles.
