This week we fight the highest rated player in all of US. He's definitely one of the best warriors I've dueled in quite a while. I normally don't lose to warriors in duels, but his offensive play style really kept me on my toes. It gets very hard to react quickly and rotate defensive cooldowns correctly under this much pressure. Nonetheless, this was a very exciting match up for me to face! In the end, the overall ratio of win loss turned out even.

Iconicus; the warrior in this video held the highest rated player on US for quite some time and still holds the reputation of being one of the best warriors on US. This was a very exciting match up and it was an honor to fight an actual good warrior that I have a chance to lose to. It's very rare that I lose to warriors, so I feel like this video shows something special. Haha iconicus isn't nearly the best warrior on US. He just outgeared everyone that's how he got to that rating, there are way more skilled warriors than him.

***** If he has the most gear, wouldn't that mean that he's the hardest warrior to fight and that he is a challenge for Hansol? Besides, your logic is flawed. He has the best gear because he's the the best warrior, not the other way around. Every decent warrior who got full gear the previous season (1500+) starts off the season with the same gear. Amount of gear is determined by the size of the cap which is determined by arena rating. He got the best gear because of his skill. With that in mind, there are several warriors who have full gear already, so clearly gear isn't the only thing.

This was actually the golden age for pvp. Duels arena and world pvp were actually balanced
Wpvp was extremely broken towards the end with SoO gear, anyone with a tank or healer spec was literally unkillable.
@@Vastatio old comment, but it's true for every xpack sadly, I mean wrath was good for pvp until 3.3 released, cata same.

I miss MoP so much :( I hope one day they bring back MoP like they did with Classic. Mists of Pandaria is the best and most fun PvP has ever been

Fuck I miss these days. I would sit out of storm wind and 50 people would be out there dueling and these 2 badass monks had the most legendary duel, everyone came to see it. Now the game is so much worse.

Don't know if I've been dueling good warriors as well because this is a good demo of my duels as fire against them. Always down to the wire even with glyph of armors as soon as a warrior reach you your hp dropped 65%. A lot of pressure the entire duel. Good job keep it up can't wait for the guide.

Haha yeah. Everytime I duel one of these top rated players, it makes me want to try their class. Like when I dueled Luminant and Nahj, it made me want to play a Ret and Rogue. Now after dueling Icon, I felt like picking up my warrior for fun, haha.

now that was amazing, both playing a warrior and a fire mage this was pretty intense to watch, that warrior had amazing foresight into the fight, its nice cause I can learn from both sides from knowing better to how to counter fire as a warrior, and how to counter warrior as fire. thanks for the video and keep burning it up :D.

I'm the single one who thinks that warrior is the most loved class in wow by blizzard? they have incredible burst,they have spel reflect,they have life regeration and incredible resistance...Good job Hansol,i love your videos,you re the best!

i'm not a great player,but i consider that every patch have a superior class:for example this patch is shamy,a few patches ago was beastmaster hunter,fire mage was a god in cataclism,and every class have good things and bad things.But warrior is good every patch,blizzard never nerfed him...I am really outraged by warrior

Haha thanks! I've tried to do PTR duels to meet up with a couple of EU players but there's always problems. I feel like EU players have bad lag there because when I dueled Thy from EU, he lagged too much to win. So I decided this series was just going to be set on the US servers. Maybe in the future I will do EU duels for a different series.

Haha thanks! The final score was 7-7 I believe. I leave the win/loss ratios in the description of the video. Also, the losses were not bad luck. He just outplayed me with reflects and blazing speed. Look carefully again and you'll understand what I mean :) Thanks for watching!
I want to see the ret pally duels! Though i think you'd rape the ret pally so hardcore because rets are weak vs classes with many ccs like mages but STILL would love to see it

hansol you are amazing, always waiting for your vids. I want to ask you one thing, in the last duel vs iconicus when you use alter time, few seconds later you trinket his fear but then you didnt back to your position when alter time ends, you did a macro only for that or how you cancel it? and why you decided to do that? you lose a pyro, and only win one second because iconicus reacts so fast.
Hansol you the best, continue doing fire vids men, i think if one day you decided to play frost people will run away from you. Play fire mague at your level need insane skill.
So I've been using my 57 fire Mage a lot and I'm usually in the top 3 in bgs but I always seem to get pawned my hunters and frost mages, then they always talk crap about how fire blows. Can you make a vid showing how to turn the fight around a little more? Thanks! And I love you man! Real inspiration!

Sick duels, the mobility that warriors have to stay on you is insane, but I was wondering if in most of these cases where he anticipates your alter time if dispelling it just to keep the range over the pyro would be better. I thought at 3:27 you would've for sure dispelled it over that range, but do you still think you would've lost that one even after that?

And to those who say going Bladestorm is stupid, did you not see how he used it mostly for cc? I know that bladestorming that breath wasn't a lucky face smack on the keyboard. He also had a stop aura macro. Bladestorm is not completely without skill at all.

I quit WoW for over 7 months and started 2 months ago again - now i stopped again as i dont know what to play tbh - got a 90 Warrior, 90 Mage, 90 Priest and 90 Rogue as well as a 88 Paladin (all Horde of course ;)).
As i had such a long break i pretty much suck with all of them - and no one really has gear except the priest - now the advice part:
What do you think is the most fun class to do BGs (to farm Gear etc) - cause I guess this is what i'd have to do for a while if i want to do serious arena again xD
