There’s an easier way to deal with Roy. Use the Frog Suit and become a frog. This will let you jump to evade the paint attack while also increasing your jump cards’ power. Here’s the no damage sequence of cards to play: turn 1: frog suit and 3 huge hop slippers. Turn 2: 2 double big jumps. Nothing more. Turn 3: 3 huge jumps and a spike helmet to counterattack Roy’s jump attack once he blackens the field. Turn 4: Washing Machine and 3 huge or double big card attacks.

I literally just figured out that the music playing when riding Rainbow Road is a reference to N64 Rainbow Road!
AKA a reference to falling off the map at the exact same turn 7 times in a row
