- PS4 Pwned with DroidPPPwn.
Needs a rooted phone, Android 4.4+, an USB OTG Cable/Adapter, and a USB Ethernet Adapter (or embedded ethernet).
It uses xfangfang PPPwn_cpp specifically compiled for android.

When i ran the net command in termux, the eth0 does show up though, any help?
So I hacked mine using my PC will this allow me to re send the hack if I move my PS4 to another location in my house?

The app cycles from stage 0 to stage 1 as it should but it will do it for around 5 mins then my console will shut off. I've used a tool on my pc that works flawlessly while starting it on the user sign in page and it is called PPPwn lite. So not sure it the scripts you use for your app is causing the crashing

I'm trying a USB-C to RJ45 Ethernet adapter on my rooted s8, keeps saying not found even though I can see the adapter light up.
Maybe it just provides power, but doesn't have the drivers. Try with a custom rom like Lineage

No, only launch the app. However at the moment it's only a proof-of-concept that prints Pppwned on your ps4.

Hello, I have a problem... you see I have a tvbox x96mini root and I connected it via lan cable to the PS4. When I open the app I put my version 9.03 and press start, but it doesn't go beyond PADI or STAGE 1 and in the end I get a Kernel Panic.
I have the PS4 configured in PPPOE all automatic and without proxy.
Do you know what else I could do?

@@KnarKZmaybe stage1.bin or stage2.bin related. Also, did you put the right version of ps4-hen-vtx in a usb stick, renaming it to payload.bin? Can you try if you have success using a pc?

I assume that the file you are talking about is "ps4-hen-903-PPPwn-vtx.bin", right? then I change its name to payload.bin and put it on a USB with the ps4?
I haven't tried it on PC yet, I'm a newbie to doing JB on PS4 but I'll learn as I go... I just hope I don't ruin my ps4 with too many Kernel Panics haha
@@KnarKZ yes, that one from EchoStretch github, you can also try different stage1 and stage2 versions if it doesn't work. I suggest you to try first with a pc and find the working combination of stage2 and payload file

In your new version 1.2.1 you said we can put stage 2 bin in the root of external storage, what if my device has only internal? Can i put it in the root of my internal drive? Or can i replace some files in your app folder, because am on 10.0 and the jailbreak works from pc but from Droidpppwn it crashes and i think it's stage2 issue
yes, it takes the folder linked to /sdcard, so in your case it's the internal storage.
otherwise you can replace the file /data/data/it.deviato.droidpppwn/lib/stage2.1000

@@alithe4th it's not your device, it's because all mobile devices are less powerful than a pc. I've found better improvements starting them in sync
Mine is on 9.03, is it correct that I just rename the stage2.bin file into stage2.903 and replace the old one from directory /data/data/it.deviato/droidpppwn?

@@xulito1404 Internet connection doesn't matter. You have to see if your android kernel supports the chipset of your ethernet card. You can try issuing this command from an adb shell to understand which interfaces the system can see:

On latest version I added support to Android KitKat 4.4+. Obviously the phone must be rooted.

It can't. The exploit involves packet sniffing which is not possible on Linux systems without superuser permissions. And Android is a Linux system.

Maybe your ethernet adapter is not supported by your rom, try some other one like Lineage

Managed to get the success screen that is green as you did in the video, but cannot see Goldhen on the menu. Do I need to now do something else post jailbreak?
The first time you have to put goldhen.bin to a fat32 formatted USB stick, like Sistr0 explains

Please add 9.03 HEN support and 9.60 GoldHEN support. My PS4 always crashes after I replaced the stage2.bin, My SD card slot is broken so i can't use adb to push stage2.bin /sdcard/.
Where can I find the source for stage2 to load ps4hen? Or is it working with sistro stage2 renaming the payload to goldhen.bin? I can't test because I'm on FW7.02
For 9.60 goldhen you can also replace the file /data/data/it.deviato.droidpppwn/lib/stage2.950 with the new one from sistr0 (stage2.950 is for both 9.50 and 9.60)
