Regarding your suggestion, I am afraid I will not be dating my videos, after realising through years of flying, for most flights, services do not differ greatly in the near term, and the video upload date would as such, serve as a reliable reference for the period the flight was taken, for the purpose of information of the inflight service trend.
Its great that you do not show mainstream airlines all the time. :) was the mince beef roll as bad as it looked ? be also nice to see you reviewing the hotels you stay in at these alternative destinations . great work Gavin .
Hey Gary, thanks for your suggestion about the hotels. I think I will be taking it up if I can. 😃 Honestly I don't really recall the "mystery meat" sandwich but the generous serving of white wine definitely helped me in my selective memory. This airline, and many other African airlines, puts my U.S. carriers to shame. American carriers would never offer complimentary sandwiches and alcoholic beverages to Economy class passengers on a flight of this length. Their excuse is that it would cost the company too much money to do so. Now that I think about it, United Airlines flies from Newark, New Jersey to Honolulu, Hawaii nonstop, and they do not offer complimentary meals to Economy class passengers. The flight is 10 hours long!!!!!!
