What makes this really unrealistic is if you take a look at any Special Forces or Black Water type organizations there aren't any females (that I know of anyway, maybe a few). Why is that? Because this type of work takes strength, emotional stability, toughness and that general killer instinct that men possess. There's a reason women aren't mercenaries or special operators.

Most untrained men could overpower her for about a minute, but after they blow their load trying to crank on a useless headlock because they have no clue what to do, that's when she's free to work technique and destroy you. Nothing makes you feel more helpless than when you're exhausted, you know the other person isn't, and you know the other person knows it. That's when you go searching for a way out.
I just watched Haywire. She's really goddamn hot by the way. Makes me want to claw my eyes out. And then I actually went and did google searches wanting to find some expert opinion about how tough she really is compared to a trained male martial artist. I bet about a million other guys did the exact same thing. All of them probably resented her and wished she was their girlfriend all at the same time. Isn't life absurd?

from experience. When I was 12 I lost to a woman in a karate tournament. Sure I acted all OK about it and said all the right things but it was horrible. And consider the female perspective: women love to see a woman defeat a man. And they really want men to be all grown up about it. Gina Carano being a trained martial arts fighter will be able to beat-up a lot of guys. She might not be able to take out the UFC Heavy Champion but the average thug is probably no match for her.
