Nice compact knife. Don't try this at home. Pretty easy for me to follow this advice, no coconut trees around here, in Canada. Great little knife,and the sheath looks like it will do the job. Thank you for the video, Gabe

Aloha my friend luv the knife can't help to think it's humid where u are for unprotected a2 steel don't get me wrong I like a2 and own a knife in it but literally mine starts to show signs of rust just from the air I'm a few miles from the sea but it's not tropical up here I'd get some wax for it that was the most violent attack on a coconut I've ever seen don't get u mad 😡with all that coconut u get the squirts 😂🤣✌️

Barry Bueler I use FrogLube that's the best for a tropical environment it does tend to coagulate around 55 degrees. Mineral oil is another good option. If you drink coconut all the time on a regular basis you don't get diarrhea from it and if you drink the younger coconuts they have less vitamins and minerals and oils. mature older coconuts have a better chance of making you sick. Mahalo

I like the knife....but I think D2 for a Bush craft knife is a little much......hard to sharpen and prone to rust....

Next Generation knife looks like a keeper, but... what are you doing to that poor coconut? I'm convinced that most bushcraft is nothing more than baby carpentry. Whittling and hacking out tent pegs and feather sticks and notches, and whatnot. Oh well. Fun is fun. Right?
