My favourite thing about this game is the speed run mostly hinges on a bug that makes your jump crazy when you set it to scroll wheel, it’s just neat

Dishonored is the goat stealth game franchise. The atmosphere and lore alone make it so, and then you have sick powers and tools with room for hijinks on top. What more could you want?

If you like dishonored maybe you should try the original thief 1 and 2 which have been the main inspiration for the Dishonored franchise. It's a bit old now but if you like retro gaming they're amazing games, you can really see how much Dishonored took from these games and some missions are also very similar between disho and thief. Playing thief really scratched my Dishonored hitch so I would strongly recommend it.

I always spared him, it never felt right to kill him when he never even got to live in the first place.
I never killed him either. He was indirectly responsible for evil, but also good. It made sense for Daud to want to kill him, and for Billy to follow Daud, but as the player I never wanted to punish the Outsider. Especially not after he gave me the powers necessary for me to do so.
Zanny manages to make the most random games seem fun to play

@@xdWizzy At least the 1st one, its a bit older now but still has an amazing story and feel to it. I love that game, but i sort of stopped halfway through the 2nd game.
@@vavra222 I never understood why people dropped the second one. The gameplay is so much smoother than the first and new powers are always a plus and you can have both emily and corvo's powers in NG+

I just lost all interest, the first game was so unique with its style, atmosphere, story and even lore, so perhaps i got my fill.
The idea to finish the 2nd game still floats in my head somewhere, but i just dont feel like it yet.
@@vavra222 that's fair, I love dishonored lore, but the gameplay is where both games shine, and the second one just a little more so for me at least. I do think the first game has an overall better story, but the second's story isn't terrible by any means. And Jindoshs' Clockwork Mansion is a masterpiece of a map
Death of the outsider was actually my favourite from a story-value-add perspective. It unpacks a lot of lore that the main two titles just sort of skate cryptically by.
Also, there are references to Billie Lurk in the first game, but you have to have really been paying attention for the name to stick out at all.

Damn, I love the Tanalor jokes😂 Zanny may have downloaded Dagan's moveset but at what cost? "Tanalor is mine! " is forever burned into his skull.
In all seriousness, part of what I love about it is how it's used as a shorthand for **insert overdramatic monologue here** .
So every time, a character does a dramatic speech, it's as if Zanny just reads off an incomplete script literally, "Insert Dramatic Response".
Except it's also a reference, so instead of "insert dialogue", the placeholder is " Tanalor is mine! ".
Because Dagan's insane ramblings are just as meaningful as a placeholder.
In short, I love the Tanalor bit because it's both mocking overdramatic dialogue and because it's a reference.

Ironically this is my favorite Dishonored game, cause your ending isnt dependent on whether you go lethal or non-lethal so you can actually choose whether you want to kill or spare people rather than being railroaded all in on one or the other.
