    I Wish there was something to help with the light pollution, like city wide blackouts for one night a month, just basic and essential lights left on. Humans are forgetting the sky above us and just how incredible it looks, even to the naked eye will make you gasp.

      One night a month wouldn't be much good what if it's cloudy!Start treating the light pollution as pollution just like air pollution,etc..I'd start with vanity lighting lighting up walls, church towers, etc.

      There are a few areas where we are where the street lights all go out at 12am. Pretty dark then but not dark enough.
