GBO2 gameplay featuring the Hi Mo Zaku II on the resort map. The Hi Mo zaku ii was buffed, with it's grenades being made a bit punchier as well as being granted a smoke grenade that's enhanced. As far as throwable smoke nades go the AOE and visual cloud it produces is quite large though short lasting, the stealth providing the suit more ways to execute a hit and run strategy. Of course the suits damage (relying on hand grenades) requires a lot of work on the players side to utilise it's high speed playstyle. The suits lack of thrust and slower than average walkspeed still making it highly risky, especially with the suits low bulk. Stealth acutally does help in this regard being useful for gaining or granting allies cornering advantages or otherwise allowing onceself to dorp off radar and pursue enemies flanks. The payoff is still mostly only felt with a team effort, and as far as the big patch buffs go, these ones were all right, but either some touch ups to its mobility to grant it true speed superiority or some touch ups to it's bulk to not be so frail for so little reward would have been the things missing, especially with how far 400 has come since the last time the suit saw some buffs. The Boom box is the preffered weapon for ground battles where it's low projectile speed isn't as much of an issue, and the damage dump style of the weapon meshes with the suits need to put more effort into running away with ground battles more limited movement options. key to success is reading the battlefield and seizing on gaps in enemy formation in order to successfully perform hit and run strikes, and squeezing what melee can be safely pursued in order to bump up the suits damage. On ground the hand grenades can be used for striking around corners, or as follow up damage that can be done whilst fleeing, with the new addition of smoke now slotting itself in at either the start of hit and run attacks or afterwards.
