Love watching these Cubs. Everything has to go right for a World Series championship, Division champ or National League Pennant. Obviously it hasn't been a perfect season, but a good team on the field is fun to watch. Pitching is great in spurts, offense is great in spurts and defense is pretty good. Get on board and cheer these guys and see what happens!
Hendricks just had a bad game..ever since he got benched and came back he's been pretty good! We gon need him this last month down the stretch!!💯Also they have the mentality that they can win and that there in EVERY game!!💯💯GO CUBS GO!!!
At this point any else would be better than throwing Hendricks out there every 5th day. They need to consider skipping his starts if they have the extra day

With Brown and Horton done for the year, and a couple of others still on rehab assignments and making slow progress, the Cubs have no starting pitching depth and are forced to keep throwing Hendricks out there. I think they're just hoping he can give them five innings each time out and not have the game get out of hand (less than 6 runs allowed).

7th was the HR. The 8th was a double. The 9th was a single. He went half as far each time, but they all yielded 2 RBI.
