Not trying to pick up the first down to win the game before OT was a loser move. A draw play on 3rd and long and then let the clock run out? Any time we get a lead, Zac gives away the game. He shouldn’t be calling the plays. You’ve got Joe Burrow; don’t run a draw like you’re playing to NOT lose. Try playing to win for a change

Did you watch the game? They played to win in the 4th quarter with 3 minutes left and threw a pick and let the Ravens tie it up, then the very next drive Burrow was sacked. The team was in position to win with a field goal and the kicking unit didn't execute bottom line. Had McPherson made that game winner you'd be pissing yourself with excitement and talking about a super bowl run, so stop blaming play calling every time.

From a ravens fan I feel for yall right now. That conservative bullshit play calling is exactly what Harbaugh does and why we’ve been so fed up with him the last 3-4 years. Lamar has really masked a lot of Harbaughs issues.
You guys played great and had the game won, coaching failed you in the end because Zak got scared. Your receivers torched us all day up to that moment..and he didn’t let burrow throw once!! Crazy
I said at the end going into overtime that I won’t even be mad if we lose because this game was so great. I like the win but it’s pretty lame to see it happen that way if I’m being honest.

I was really really really hoping we wouldn’t do exactly what I knew we were gonna do. I try and lie to myself to avoid the pain of knowing we will blow it if it’s possible. We did the nightmare. Almost like I can see it in the stars haha.
I know people are gonna act like the interception was the cause of the loss but really it was the play calling by Zac Taylor. Calling three straight run plays that didn't go anywhere in overtime and then icing your own kicker was the epitome of poor decision making. If they lose next week against the giants then there needs to be a real conversation about firing Zac Taylor and hiring Bill Bellichick.

@@benkaiser5033 I mean they should get some blame and had Zac Taylor called different plays then I would be blaming them more but the defense did recover that fumble and put them in position to potentially win only to have the head coach squander that chance with baffling play calls. Frankly I think the defense needs some better players but I think bringing in Bill Bellichick would greatly improve the unit despite what I perceive the problem of player shortcomings to be. If him and Lou could work together they could probably turn it into at least an average defense.

@@SlickFox7 I'm saying it's not Lou's fault but perhaps with a real head coach to bounce ideas off instead of Zac Taylor especially one specializing in defense like Bill Bellichick then maybe they could've found a better method of executing it. The fact is that the defense has looked terrible this year allowing even mediocre QBs like Andy Dalton to look relatively good and that is a problem that needs to be solved. Now I personally think it's a lack of talent and not defensive play calling but I also think it'd be foolish to think that Bill Bellichick would have nothing to offer in terms of helping it.
The pick definitely hurt but it wasn't the reason the Bengals lost. The poor decision making was and that is largely if not solely on Zac Taylor. As for the holder that's one of those things that rarely happens and is bad but fixable however calling a time out to ice your own kicker probably didn't help.

I see comments about the defense playing ooorly but I disagree, they held Derrick Henry to a low rushing total more most of the game, they were keeping Lamar in the pocket and it was a 10 point game with 9 mins left, the Bengals had a decent rush all day Lamar just made good plays including that wild red zone play on Hubbard, Lamar & Joe are two of the best in the league. Joe should’ve won this game, that was a bad int.

This was our year because tee is gone after this year and chase will be double teamed all the time so he won't be able to do either is good at which will make it harder unless our other receivers can step up and make defenses pay for doubling chase. Our defense sucks. That's why we lost. Yea burrow int help us lose but if the defense do their job then that int means nothing.
