Did miss something? Because one of those 18650 cells at full charge could charge that fone fully without the hassle it would take to build that generator thiny or whatever that is.

It's a mechanical DC-to-AC converter! I've seen them in a larger scale from the 60's and 70's where the universal DC motor was wired in shunt mode to maintain the correct speed to produce the required 50Hz for the onboard electronics.

You saved enough buying that antique phone to charge it on your house current for 10 years. But if you're recharging the batteries on solar or wind power, that's a cool rig...and free energy. I have a discarded 15 Watt, 12 Volt solar panel I found behind Harbor Freight and an old lawn mower battery that I've been charging my iPhone with for about 2 years. It also runs a 12 Volt, 7 Watt Cree LED lamp on my computer desk for HOURS on a day-long charge.

You still using batteries for the motor if you had two usb you can use one for motor and the other to charge your usb things you just jump start the motor to get it going then it should be free energy

Yes sir.. Actually I trying this in 2007 and loop the system and it can self looping but cannot longger and the battery is low.. After 30 minit and the motor is hot.. My hand phone only increasing about 16% only.. By the way needs a bit modifications on this concept of gadgets.. Means that put storage power fast charge in to the storage power then can use it for charge HP more than 3000 MAH... That my result and I'm still keeping the device

it's not about the batteries, that invention is inspired by Galvanometer, 2 process to increased the electricity first is number of coil and second fast of moving the magnet either right or left but it would be better both. Pardon me for being rude, but this is not free energy! This generator is powered up by batteries (if it is not a motor, I did not care enough to research). You should just not label something it’s not. Also please do you’re research before making a DIY you can do at home project. The closest thing the free energy (not free) would be solar and wind power. These can create energy, but it can only produce as much energy as what was put in.

This is "free energy" meaning there is no cost beyond the parts. There are no laws violated here. This is a normal transformer. The batteries spin the motor (energy in) which generates electricity in the coils (energy out), which goes to the outlet. Powerin = powerout.
I'm lost... Why use electromagnetic inductance? It'd obviously be much more efficient just to plug the batteries into the phone.

So if you get more than 20mAh out of that, you'll get a charge signal. What you don't see here is that there is even 1 bar getting charged by the end of the video. If you even had 350mAh, it would get 1 bar in about 1 minute. The other two take MUCH longer, it's measuring cell voltage. This again has no protection on lithium cells, like other projects. I just do see the point to this... is it to show you can make a charger that produces over 12 volts so the wall wart will convert it? These charger have such a high input range that you really don't have to generate high voltage to get them to regulate 5V out, it just has to have an AC component to it. Waste of flyback core, and copper wire.

I agree with what Scott Diburro said, it cannot be a free energy if you use any power input in the system! if you jumpstart and used that energy to power the motor then its possible and is a free energy, but I don't think you will get extra energy to charge a phone or any other device! I wouldn't be plugging that USB into my phone, the USB voltage measured 6V, it should be 5V.
would do better to connect the two 18650 batteries to a 7805 regulator and connect straight to USB in stead of wasting energy in the alternator then the faulty psu unit

There is a misleading title to your video. You titled that your "free" A.C. generator, but you checked voltage on the DC side of your voltmeter. So in reality, you made a Direct Current generator, there is nothing Alternating about the electricity you have generated. Also, the term "free" yet you have to use batteries to power your electromagnetic generator. So unless you make the batteries either from the ancient Baghdad battery method, or make the crystal batteries utilizing Piezoelectricity to form a DC current, or the Copper/Aluminum Saltwater battery harnessing the chemical reaction between conductor and electrolyte catalyst to make a DC current, then your DC generator isn't really "free". Although, my argument on your labeling of the video has provided multiple ways for this to be a free energy device, depending on if this particular setup of components actually works. I will have to experiment and see, and if so, I could definitely benefit from this being a essential tool for camping or the bug out bag in survival situations.

This is not a free energy generator, it is a converter which converts 3v battery to 110/220v ac for the adaptor. NOT A FREE ENERGY GENERATOR as you call it.
