    You guys liked all crashes from Montreal, so I decided to do this race from 2007. Its sad how 64 cars tried to make the field in 2007 and only 40 this year in 2016.

    Man, I remember watching this live as a kid, trying to find my dad who had tickets for the race. One of the best races I've seen to date

      I think the first one I saw was, unfortunately, the 2001 Daytona 500.

    “Oh, there goes Tony. Oh my goodness” I remember these words like it was yesterday for whatever reason. This wreck never sat well with me for the longest time being a Tony fan

    God I miss these gen 4 cars. Also, this is probably the most well known "big one" NASCAR has ever had, next to the 37 car pileup from 1960.

      chargenick1563 Stewart's "flip" at talladega in 2012, Edwards at talladega are also really famous.

    • @DATDylan25
      @DATDylan25 8 лет назад

      Those as well, Stewart's more than Edwards' probably though. But it seems the 2007 finish is the most well known when it comes to NASCAR fans and non-fans alike.

      I'd say Edwards is more famous. He got on Ellen because of that wreck.

    I miss the Gen-4 car. The CoT was crap, and the Gen-6 car, while it produced some spectacular finishes last year, just isn't the same.
    NASCAR could just incorporate the Gen-6 cars' safety features into the Gen-4 body.

    It pains me every time I see Tony's wreck in this race, seemed like he had a strong car and possibly could of had a shot to win had he not crashed.

      Some of the Daytona 500’s in the past have raced in the afternoon all the way until darkness due to either long caution flags, red flags, or rain delays. This race had some long caution flags and a red flag condition with 4 laps to go.

    Mark Martin should've won it

    • @meisryan9870
      @meisryan9870 8 лет назад +2

      Yeah I agree, most people in his position would've won that race because they would've actually tried blocking the giant ass run Harvick had going into three. Martin choked though.
